Logan 8* Superb performance, best in a Leicester shirt

Lamey 7 Solid as a rock. Not going to offer much going forward, but does his job

Morrison 6 Not as solid as he was last year

Vitor 7 Looks classy, good reader of the game. Pace.

Kennedy 6 Defensively suspect, but bags of potential

Moreno 7 Good game I thought, genuine DM but with nice range of passing too

Abe 7 Looks too lightweight to be a holding midfielder, but undeniably got all the flicks and skills going forward

King 7 Below par, but nice set up for Dyer

Dyer 7 Faded again, but ran them ragged first half

Gallagher 6 Disappointing. End product please

Howard 7 Essential focal point for the breaking midfielders

SUBS

N'Guessan 5 Ugh, blind alleys and poor decision making

Wellens 7 Calmed it down nicely

Moussa n/a

Thought the four new lads all showed a lot of promise

Not sure they are ready yet to play week in week out in the League

but can see Vitor over Morrison and Moreno over Oakley soon, and Abe being brought on in time

Logan 8 - Clearly has a point to prove in establishing his 'back-up' status and last nights performance did him the world of good. Solid job with crucial saves.

Lamey 6 - Average performance. With Neilson's new found form this season, he should keep Lamey out of the starting 11 until a better replacement is found for both.

Morrison 7 - Took his goal well. Looked very nervous at times and could have cost us on a couple of occasions with some wayward back-passes.

Vitor 7 - Solid performance, looks promising. Would like to see him partner Hobbs.

Kennedy 5 - No where near the finished article. He worried me all night. Got forward well when we were attacking but left us exposed on a few occasions. A loan move would help bring him on.

Moreno 5 - Didn't like him as a CB and don't like him in midfield. Other than a couple of decent tackles and occasional through passes, he was error prone. Shame, I was hoping he would have been a real good signing. No evidence of it yet though!

Abe 8 - Beginning to get to grips with his team mates and our style of play. Got stuck in and had good vision. Him and Andy King could develop into a very potent midfield pairing.

King 7 - Yet another solid performance. It appeared that he had been given instructions to push higher up the pitch. Can only assume that his early departure was to save him for Friday.

Dyer 7 - As always, his pace was a major threat. Sometimes lacked the final finish/cross - but a threat nonetheless.

Gallagher 6 - Just couldn't seem to get into the game. Would like to see him in a more central role.

Howard 7 - Worked hard all night and won pretty much everything. Seems to be working harder than ever this season. Still think he needs to play just behind to two other strikers as his knock-ons aren't always read accurately by a sole partner.

SUBS

N'Guessan 3 - Why bother? Keeps losing the ball far to easily. Although we have seen brief glimpses of talent in the past, he's way too indifferent.

Wellens 6 - A good choice of sub at the time of the game. Helped ensure we started to defend a little better. Made up for his dire performance against QPR.

Moussa N/A - Didn't get much of a run-out. Would like to see more of him. (Should keep N'Guessan out of the side).

Good atmosphere generated by the travelling faithful. Ref was crap for both sides. Sh*t ground!

I didn't go but from listening on the radio it is beyond me how N'Guessan deserves anything more than 2

Which is why people shouldn't really review based upon radio coverage. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't great, but 2 is ridiculous

What Munzie wrote

I was going to write my own assessment but I'm busy and I agree with Munzie's ratings apart from Moreno who I'd give a 6 (great 50 yarder!) and N'Guessan who I'd give 8 purely for the accuracy of his first effort on goal which left the stadium at about ten minutes past nine and landed in my front garden about seven miles away at approximately twenty minutes to ten according to Mrs. Isle of Wight Fox.

Thanks for the ball Dany.

So what did he do to warrant a 5 then?

With the exception of one move, everything he touched turned to shit.

His shot was awful

Even Rofe slated him.

If he gets 5 then what are you saying about players who get 6 or 7.

The scores run from 0 to 10

For you, what would someone have to do to warrant a 0 or 1, shoot the rest of the team?

5 is an average, how can you claim he was average?

Perhaps he needed to be on longer to accurately assess his performance, he had a couple of decent runs but you're right in that he wasn't a 5, should've been 4 I guess in relation to my other marks, but giving the guy a 2 from the viewpoint of your radio? Do you not think the commentator's opinion had any influence on your decision to say he's only worth a 2? IMHO for the brief period he was on he was average or slightly below. Are you saying that you're view of his performance was better than mine all the way from Hackney?
