Of course I have, I don't want him back, but anyone suggesting it was shit with him just needs to Google our run from league 1 to Premier league champions, you absolute donut :pearson:

You do realise it’s possible to appreciate different things in football right?

I've no idea what you're on about

1. Someone suggested Pearsons football was shit

2. I reminded them of what he did and being the catalyst to what we then went on to achieve

Clearly a non argument isn't it.

Tell me different

Should be looking elsewhere than the English Isles!

If you want to stay in a league, you should call Bo Henriksen in Mainz! Check their results in the 13 games he has manage them in the end of this season!

It was about the style, you have brought in what he did for the club which is totally untouchable.

It’s only a non argument if you don’t read the question.

I agree to a point - but at this level, isn't winning games and building for continued success more important than pinging the ball around?

2 things.....

The great escape

The premier league title

Rest my case

Get out.

Just go.

We don’t need your type in the Pearson Is God club.

We want him back and we want clones of him filling every position at the club.

🎼We all dream of a management team of Nigel Pearsons 🎶

Sure, it doesn’t scan as well as the Barry Hayles one, but it’s about the capo of capos so it doesn’t matter.

This is the the point

I acknowledged what he did.

I respectfully disagree about the style.

It is possible to enjoy different styles of play.

The two things aren’t exclusive, he did great great things for the club, no question, and will and should always be highly regarded for that. His playing style was sometimes good, sometimes less so in my opinion and it’s personal preference. This is no way diminishes the extent of the successful foundations he established. It’s not a binary statement.

Baffled

I've not suggested I want him to be our next manager at all

Anyone suggesting he didn't set us up for the best times we've had is deluded

No money , minus points - no chance we get anyone elite - we need a safe pair of hands that will give us a chance - we should be going all out for potter and if he doesn’t want it then moyes is a complete no brainer - done a fantastic job at West Ham - top 10 for how many years in a row and a trophy - ridiculous some are turning their nose up at him - needs to be done asap though as we need a complete re train on how to play and personnel changes wil be pretty big -for example  no way vesty gets a new contract under Moyes

I’d have thought the reference to having an army of Pearson clones at the club was enough to point out the humour in my post. Next time I promise to use more emojis.

Erm.... go back and read. Nobody said  anything like you said.

The debate was styles of play not if it was a shit time.

My... the way you jumped on people defending him makes you look like  Person's Baby Reindeer.

Are there any other heavy metal football managers out there like Klopp?

Joey Barton or Stuart Pearce - if LCFC were back in 2008, when relegated to League One..

🤣🤣🤣

I might have misread the initial - but surely the style of play we deployed got us through both the great escape and then onto history.

Either way, its irrelevant, onto the next

Chelsea pay £10m for Enzo and over spend resulting in a 10 pt deduction, getting relegated, 9 pts adrift of safety.

Leicester give the job to Wayne Rooney, who demands that Vardy plays every minute of every game, even stoppage time, cup games and extra time, even when injured or begging to be subbed. Vardy scores 30+ goals and Leicester finish 17th, thanks to goal difference, overcoming their own 10 pt deduction.

Scenes!
