Harry was the older brother of Ernest, who came to play for Fosse hot-on-the-heels of his older brother. They mirrored each others' success as a Fox - making just one Football League appearances, although he did manage to add a goal to his name too.
The striker, who signed from Leicester Excelsior in January 1898, made his debut a month later in a home clash against Lincoln City and actually netted a goal, but it was to be his only one. His time as a Fox was usually spent playing alongside his younger brother in the reserve set-up, where he was twice sent off and collected a two-month FA suspension as a result.
Following his time with Fosse he spent the remainder of his career at small clubs not too far away, including Burton Wanderers, Burton United and Chesterfield Town.
