Peltier is a Liverpudlian full-back who joined City from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2011. The fee was reported as £750,000, with add-ons taking it up to the £1 million mark. Town were keen to keep hold of him but didn't stand in his way when the Foxes came calling.
A determined and quick full-back, Peltier started his career at Tranmere Rovers before moving on to the youth set-up at Liverpool. He failed to get a first-team start at Anfield though and was loaned out to Hull City and Yeovil Town before the latter signed him permanently in 2008. Huddersfield snapped him up a year later and it was there where he made his name.
The England U18 international, who could also play in midfield in his early years before settling into the right-back role enjoyed a superb debut for City, scoring the winning goal in his league debut, against local rivals Coventry City in the opening game of the 2011-12 season.
