The Benfica defender was part of the mini Portuguese revolution at City following the arrival of Paulo Sousa as manager. Joining Moreno at the Walkers Stadium, Vitor signed on a season-long loan from the Portuguese giants for the 2010-11 campaign. He came with a big reputation thanks to appearances for Benfica in the Champions League and he lived upto it, putting in some impressive performances for the Foxes. But his time in Leicester was marred somewhat by injury problems and he made just 17 appearances, chipping in with three goals along the way. He also faced stiff competition for places in the City defence and returned to Benfica at the end of the campaign. He won various trophies with Benfica and represented his country at U19 and U21 level.
He's remembered as a defender of some quality from his time at the club.
