The Peruvian arrived at City via Boca Juniors, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and West Ham in January 2010. Penning a six-month deal after a brief trial period, he made his debut as a substitute in a 0-0 draw against former side Newcastle.
In total he played 11 league games for the Foxes and also featured, and scored, in the 4-3 penalty shoot-out defeat at Cardiff City in the Championship play-off semi-final. He left the club in July and rejoined former Foxes manager Nigel Pearson at Hull City before going on to play for Hartlepool United. He was a midfielder by trade, but went on to play at full-back later in his career.
