Part one of the 'one game' club for the Foxes, Hibbard played his debut, final game and also scored his only goal against Hucknall St Johns in the FA Cup in November 1895.
Born in Heanor, Hibbard played for just Leicester and Bury Town during his football career and featured as an inside-right in his maiden Foxes appearance.
Despite his single appearance for the club, Hibbard had scored the winning goal for Fosse Rovers in their Leicestershire Senior Cup final win of 1896 and had also represented the county a year previously.
He went on to play for Bury Town after City and went into teaching after his football career.
