Christensen was a Danish striker who made just one start for the Foxes during an unsuccessful loan stint at Filbert Street in 1985 from Elche CF in Spain. He burst onto the scene as a youngster with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven but made his name at clubs mainly in his homeland.
Following Elche's relegation from the Spanish top-flight he made the move to England, and City, on-trial and impressed in his first outing from the bench. His full debut, however, wasn't a good one and it was to turn out to be his only one in a Leicester shirt.
He remained in England with Portsmouth but didn't stay long at Fratton Park before returning to his homeland to score Brondby's first-ever goal in the European Cup. A move to the second tier of Gerrman football completed his professional career.
