Leet broke on to the scene as a promising young centre-back when he made his debut at Norwich City in May 1981. Leicester had already been relegated and youth was given a chance with nothing but pride to play for.
He was an England schoolboy international by the time he was handed his senior chance but, despite being handed a number of opportunities by Jock Wallace, his successor Gordon Milne didn't offer him the same opportunity.
Injuries also put paid to his career and after dropping out of league football with local side Shepshed Charterhouse and Oadby Town he turned away from the game to take on a career in business.
