Lee’s only real claim to fame from his City days was that he was part of the youngest-ever Foxes line-up at the time in a match against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in May 1979.
He made just six appearances for the club after arriving from the United States. Born at an RAF base in Germany, he was raised in Scotland and actually got on the books with Rangers before opting for a move to the U.S. with Philadelphia Fury. His stint there was less than a year and was one of three players to join Leicester from Fury in quick succession after Pat Byrne and Martin Henderson.
After his less-than-successful spell with Leicester he moved on to Kidderminster Harriers.
