Leicestershire-born Harrison spent four years at Filbert Street but could manage just two appearances for the club, both coming in the League Cup - the first his debut at home against Bristol City in September 1969.
He'd started out his career with Blaby Boys Club before signing professional terms with City in February 1967. He was understudy to more senior players at the club and his two games in the cup came more than a year apart.
Wanting more first-team opportunities, Harrison moved to Torquay United and got his wish. He played 128 league games for the club, albeit in Division Three and Four.
Harrison finished his career with spells at Colchester United, Dawlish and Salisbury.
