Player Profile |
---|
Clydebank-born Clarke spent three years with the Foxes between 1964-67 but played just one game as a substitute in a home game against Leeds United.
He's distinguished as having arguably the shortest first-team career with City - being introduced against Leeds with just a minute to go. And he was to never play for the club again. He was reported not to have even touched the ball during his short spell on the pitch. His frustrating spell at the club came to an end following a successful three-month trial with Cardiff City. Spells with Bristol City and Hartlepool United followed.
