The Powerful forward started his career with Queens Park and Partick Thistle before moving south of the border to Leeds United. He was City's first five-figure transfer, in a player-plus-cash deal that saw Ray Iggledon move in the other direction to Elland Road.
Chisholm, affectionately known as 'Chizzy', was the joker in the City pack and helped Leicester to survival and a Wembley appearance in just his first season at the club. He had a goal disallowed in the cup final and later caused controversy by claiming the match had been rigged before.
In total Chisholm, who was good in the air and had a powerful shot, scored 20 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions before moving Coventry City, Cardiff City and Sunderland amongst others. He finished his career across the pond with Los Angeles Kickers.
