Player Profile |
---|
The Welshman found his way to City in December 1948 from clubs such as Fulham and Southend United and he made his City debut away at Leeds United, making an impression by finding the back of the net.
The outside-left only spent five months at the club, however, as he struggled to fill the boots of Charlie Adam. He was actually a former rugby player before he got into football when being posted to pit work in the north of England.
He went on to play for Bath City and Walsall before bringing his career to a close at Oswestry Town.
