A son of Foxes wing wizard Billy Dorrell, Billy Junior couldn't live up to the name of his father and made only one Football League appearance for the club, in his debut at home against Rotherham County in December 1919.
Billy Junior was unfortunately destined for lower league football, going on to play for Hinckley United, Coalville Swifts and Loughborough Corinthians after failing to make the grade at a higher level with Leicester.
He was twice in County Cup-winning sides, one actually with City Reserves and the other with Loughborough. After his football career he followed his father into engineering.
