  1. Well. There's a certain midfielder currently in New York...........
  2. It'd be a lot lot further west if en-route for Las Vegas. This looks like East coast US.
  3. 7700 doesn't neccesarily mean a major league disaster is imminent. I've known it used for an aircraft where a number of passengers kicked off and it was decided that the flight would divert for police involvement. In this case ATC instructed it's use to indicate to other ATC units that that particular aircraft was on a non-standard priority routeing and wouldn't neccesarily comply with standard procedures. The fight was actually in the business class cabin. A guy had decided to light a cigarette and the passenger in front complained, at this point the smoker, who'd also had a few, leaned over and burned the other guys neck with the end of his fag! The burned victim and the chap sitting next to him then lamped the smoker and they ended up fighting in the isle!!!
  4. Well. The bad news might be. Savannah, Georgia. (if the flightplan ICAO code comes up it's KSAV). If so, it might be going back to Gulfstream for some serious maintenance and you won't see it for a while.
  5. It doesn't quite work that way Liam. Transatlantic aircraft follow routes called NAT tracks which are calculated daily based on the pressure systems over the Atlantic. They're also based on Great Circle routes. I shall now stand by to be accused of geekness.......
  6. I can't answer or I'll have to start reporting to the police every week again.
  7. To be really ashamed you need to have purchased the 'de-luxe' app with the latest photo database. I go to all the rehab meetings now and will admit 'I am Woollett's Wellies and I have an ADSB problem'.
  8. Or could have gone stealth as they know West Ham\Villa are monitoring our scouting movements.
  9. HS-VSK. It could be temporarily out of range of an ADSB interrogator
  10. If I was the sort of Man U fan that posted some of that crap I'd... 1.Be very worried about a manager who thinks that buying endless forwards and totally ignoring obvious defensive issues that have been apparent for some time has his finger on the pulse. 2.Has had a massive dressing room argument with his players where they question his tactical decisions which, in my eyes, is the thin end of the wedge to losing the dressing room. 3.Thinks that losing regularly is the result of players not adapting to 'his philosophy'. When, in fact it may be his philosophy that doesn't work. 4.Be thinking back to the mental toughness and organisation of a Ferguson side and see how far this Man U team has regressed from that. Instead it's all the fault of Clattenburg and Vardy! Delusion doesn't even come close. Mind you, not being a Man Utd fan I couldn't give a flying ****!
  11. Yep...Here you go. There were more reports than this but I've got serious copy/paste issues since bloody iOS8! http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/514195/Why-the-f-did-we-substitute-Di-Maria-United-star-BLASTS-Van-Gaal-after-Leicester-loss
  12. For me....Rafael is on the wrong side of Vardy and knows he's in trouble....There's a strong shoulder charge, (or whatever you think it was)........Rafael goes down appealing and looses just enough reaction time to react because the ref doesn't blow! Vardy turns inside the box and Rafael is faced with tackling him from the side or behind it's a very risky choice and a player of his experience shouldn't have let himself get to that point. .....Vardy gets contact and goes down.....Some you get and some you don't. This time we got. The lesson....Kids footbal 101. Play to the whistle.......Kids football 102. If you make a tackle in the box make bloody sure you do it right! However. I was surprised Clattenburg didn't blow for the free kick in the first place. It's interesting that reports of the giant Man U dressing room bust up afterwards quote 'several Man Utd players as criticising Rafael.'
  13. The real good news will be if they manage to recover the flight recorder and can piece together what actually happened to the aircraft. It's not going to be easy and it'll cost a shed load of cash but I suspect Boeing for one are really really going to want evidence. These sort of incidents can lead to spectacular litigation costs and can undermine a manufacturers reputation that can lead to a lot of lost jobs. It's spectacularly sad for those who've lost their lives, and their families but the shockwaves from something like this can ripple a long way.
  14. The Southern Ocean currents will have taken any wreckage, if that's what it is, miles from any crash location in the time between the aircraft going missing and the satellite data being reviewed. You can plot a location back from the sighting to the time the aircraft may have crashed but it's going to be fairly imprecise. The blackbox has a radio beacon that will still be transmitting but it'll be in very deep water so you'd need to be pretty close to receive the signal. If it's decided to continue the search in that area the interesting ship involved will be HMS Echo as it's equipped for Oceanographic survey and may well have special gear. Of course, they need to know the debris seen actually comes from the aircraft before they even start and the clocks been running on all this for some time.
  15. Hello All... Yes..I'm another long term reader who's decided to register. I shall now stand by to be shot down in flames due to... 1.Being a Season ticket holder in J1 2.Being old enough to have seen Albert Cheeseborough play 3.Cos I've probably made a bo**ocks of resizing the picture for my avatar. 4.Initially, thinking Peter Taylor might be a good manager......That didn't last long! However...I always thought Denis Wise was a complete c*ck.. Let me off? (Hey! Having seen No3...It worked. Still looking for one in colour though)
