  1. I actually think it's a great undercard, in the sense that it's showing the progression of our young exciting talents. It's almost as if Eddie is showing Okolie, Cordina and Campbell 'look, this is where Josh has got too, you can too'. I'm looking forward to seeing Cordina and Okolie again, aswell as the progression of Campbell and Quigg who have two world class trainers with them now.
  2. History.....exactly. Fights aren't won on resumes. He has more experience than Josh, no doubt. But he has less power, speed and based on his last fight with Fury, less movement aswell. Of course Klit can win. We all saw in the Bellew and Haye fight that anything can happen.....I simply find no logic, well little logic, in picking Klit over Josh though.
  3. I'm not sure how anyone can predict Klit tbh. He was schooled and actually hurt at one stage by Fury....who really doesn't have 'elite' level power. People continually question Joshua's 'roboticness'.....but he hasn't been in a fight yet where he's had to do anything other than just land on his opponent. Even against Whyte....a fight which Joshua let the emotions get the better of him, he knew he just needed to land eventually and he would get the KO. Joshua beats all the top 10 heavyweights on the planet, probably by KO....and comfortably. Klit has two options of winning, by an early KO or 'old manning' Joshua. He couldn't get near Fury, so i don't see how he doesn't get caught by Joshua. Wlad isn't known for having a great chin.....hence he's been a defensive fighter for years.
  4. Don't know if you ever watch any of the IFL vids on youtube (I love them tbh, actually allows you to get to know the characters of some boxers instead of Eddie getting in the way all the time) and BJS always seems to balloon in between fights. There's something very funny about watching a man in broken English trying to rip into someone else......and they always seem to do it aswell. I had to chuckle when he pointed at BJS's stomach and just said 'Heavyweight' BJS is a level, at least, above Langford. But you're only as good as your last fight, and in that BJS was poor. He was slow and sluggish.....he also had weight issues before that fight. If he fights at the level he was against Eubank, he wins the fight comfortably with his movement.....but he hasn't been very impressive since.
  5. Sounds like a mismatch to me. I don't want to fight a guy who can 'do heavy'. I want a heavyweight.
  6. @Manwell Pablo What weight class? No chance in hell do i have of slimming down to anything below heavyweight.
  7. Why? I was using it in the same context as you. The wrong one.....
  8. clever? In what sense? He seems incredibly thick to me. I'm sure he will probably play the 'troll' card at some point, but that would mean he has no concept of what trolling is.
  9. 'Pretty much always right' isn't a phrase i'd associate with someone who makes calls and claims without any evidence.
  10. That's a bit ironic isn't it? Coming in this thread to cause a scene and then have the audacity to call me obnoxious? You can't have a dig at a guy for not knowing anything, then call him obnoxious when he proves you wrong Clearly you and @Manwell Pablo both have issues when admitting you're wrong.
  11. I apologise for claiming the Atletico tie was over after the first leg.... Oh wait....i was right.
  12. There's no point dragging this on any longer. You're clearly in the wrong and know far less about boxing than you claim to.
  13. Again you try and create an argument which isn't there instead of having the decency to admit you're wrong. All i stated was that GGG was told by Golden boy, indirectly (maybe directly aswell.....suggesting that however would be 'conjecture'), that should he face BJS he's not likely to get Canelo this year. How difficult is it to understand? I haven't once suggested it is the 'sole reason'.....However, it is pretty logical to suggest that as a result of the following quote... “If he tries to do a fight with Saunders, that will screw up the plans." (For a 2017 fight with Canelo) Why on earth do we need to discuss any other 'reasons'? Whether morally right or wrong, Goldenboy have made it clear to GGG that a fight with BJS will seriously limit the chance of him fighting Canelo this year.
  14. He hasn't wanted to travel there since the fight was announced. First, they tried claiming that Peter Fury, his coach and dad, wouldn't be allowed entry due to past convictions......the boxing board of control in New Zealand ensured he would be allowed in so that Hughie had zero excuses. Secondly, Hughie refused to fully commit so that Frank Warren could try and bring the fight to the UK.....that failed. Finally, he's decided to make up an injury so that he can't fight. I respected Tyson for his huge win, and wished Hughie all the success possible......but when their camp is again involved in something like this, and therefore now twice, Tyson v Klit rematch and Parker v Hughie, you really have to question everything they do in the future. It's a disgrace in all honesty. Whilst i was, at the time, delighted by Tyson's win over Klit....i can't help but thinking i wished the result turned out differently. Someone like Wilder may have been forced to fight a decent level opponent.
