  1. Think this the bloke who I stood next to, green jacket and shaved head. was doing my head in all game, got to the point where I said are you ever going to stop moaning and start backing the team? His response was “f*** off”
  2. Frustrating game to watch, felt like the away team with Riders fans bring massively outnumbered.
  3. Hinckley AFC won the Midlands League Cup last night 2-0 against Whitchurch Alport a division up from them. Good game and decent atmosphere made by the Hinckley fans.
  4. I did the Burghley 7, would definitely do it again. Nice little loop, would be cool if they could extend it to a half marathon too.
  5. Started running in the first lockdown doing couch to 5k, completed that and been hooked since. Regularly doing 10k runs and have just signed up for the Leamington half marathon.
  6. What are the promotion rules for UCL Prem North/South? Is it top automatic, and then 2nd play a playoff game against a relegated team? Looking quite tight at the top between Hinckley LRFC and Harborough.
  7. Always thought that Rugby Town and Nuneaton should be playing higher than they are now considering the size of their towns. Both towns have a higher population than Burnley.
  8. Just been for a couple at The White Bear at Hinckley, decent selection of beers. however wasn’t a fan of paying £5.90 for beavertown gamma ray
  9. Recently moved to Hinckley, closest pub to me is The Weavers, decent pub with quite a bit of Leicester memorabilia on the walls. Ham and cheese cobs are on offer, a bit too much cheese me thinks.
  10. Have booked a weekend to climb Ben Nevis, will be staying at the Calluna hostel. Will be raising money to help a friends fight against cancer, if anyone would like to donate it will be gratefully appreciated! https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Ben-Nevis-for-Sam
  11. Not sure if there’s a thread on this already. Has anyone Ben Nevis? If so, I’m doing it in a few weeks and wondered where’s ideal place to stay. So far my plan is to stay in an Airbnb close to fort William, not sure if that would be a too long of walk to the summit? Any advice would be great, thanks.
