  1. Why would ours be 2.5/3x more than Forest's? I thought we may have only breached for 1 year of the 3 in question (which is the same as them isnt it ?) - others have said seems like ours will be 10 pts, just have no idea why !! ANSWERED ABOVE - THANKS !
  2. Exactly - boring. Much better when we were almost winning or just losing badly last season. Personally loving it this season - the results PROVE what Enzo has implemented has worked/is working to get us out of this shitty league as fast as possible. Let's judge him on what may happen next season erm.........next season ??!?!?!?!
  3. Exactly this. You look at our old team sheet and those names sound amazing - thats a top 6 (Prem) challenging side. But they were (almost to a man) awful for us last season, and much of season before. Tielemans for Winks, for example, appears a massive downgrade, but Mr T was utter gash for us for ages ! Feels strange to argue that we are a better side for losing all those "greats". Anyway - so long Wilf, good luck !
  4. Yeah got quite emotional watching that JM10. Then I remember the absolutely sh1ttery of last season that these players put us through and am thankful we are moving on !
  5. OK - after seeing Patson's I've got to get involved here. I've seen 4 or 5 insta video or comments where players are thanking the fans for their support (1 Leeds one and 3 or 4 of ours ?). One word is common across every one I've seen - "unwavering". Quite an unusual word to use in any context these days. Whats more curious though is I used Chat GPT recently to write a letter I needed ideas for. It used the word 'unwavering' 4 times in the letter. So whilst we all know these guys have people writing these sincerest thank you's and apologies for them - my bet is their teams are generating these via AI. Off to get it to write one now to Brendan to thank him for fckin us over the last couple of years (I see Foxile5 has already noticed this 'unwavering'ness !)
  6. Hits me as one of most important things. Top takes the simple option here and it shows we are really are up the creek for a while. However make a inspired choice (ie not Smith.Big Sam et al) and send a message we are serious I think atmosphere changes in an instant and suddenly fans will be looking upwards again. Interesting times.
  7. OK this is interesting. Using the angle of the 6yd line then agreed - he looks off. But the goal line is clearly not at the same angle as the 6 yd line - which means, somewhere between the 6 yd line and the goal line the "line" becomes more vertical ie use the goal line and draw the same angle from Bamford to Castagne (he's onside!) Someone can probably tell me which is the "right" way to measure it !
  8. Watched on TV so unsure - did Brendan NOT have a notebook last night ? Talk about having a long hard look at ourselves ! Apols if mentioned elsewhere !
  9. Great to see us beat the Forest. Cheered every goal like it was Youri's in the final. However good we were - Forest were woeful - they'll be down by Christmas. Given they were so bad it was worrying to see how they cut through us so easily at times. Whats going on with Wilf and Youri - why are they letting players ghost past them ? At times the gaps and spaces for their players in front of our back 4 were so large. Fear that anyone even capable of Prem league football would've left us in trouble. Loved the game, loved the result, and love the lads - but still a little concerned the same old frailities are there. To add - thought the mixing up of set pieces was great, and Wout looks to install some confidence in our defence, which I think will underpin generally better results going forward.
  10. I'm gutted about this - loved Wes when he came, and you cant seriously question his ability or potential, especially vs what is waiting in the wings !! As annoyed as I am at his antics now it will always happen to little old Leicester wont it. We cant only sign players that dont dream of playing for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Chelsea - so have to face the reality of them looking to leave when that opportunity comes up. The next "Wes" or "Riyad" isnt going to sit and say - I just dream of signing for Leicester City, West Ham, or A N Other not that bad sometimes or not that good sometimes team. The best we can do is what we've done with Wes's contract and ensure we get a big number to let him go - as much as it hurts.
  11. sadly The Hearts massive really didnt do the job for us did they.
  12. and yet was supposed to be the new Mark Draper ! I think his attitude was clearly worse than his ability, which is probably worse.
  13. Was getting concerned it was only me who recalls Maybury as one of the worst ever. As fast as thick custard.
  14. So the Mail story is just this one - 5 days later ?
  15. Shouldn't Liverpool be green in the Chelsea row and Chelsea red in the the Liverpool row ? Great table, everything crossed for next 2 games !
