  1. Keep in mind our history (Royal Woolich Arsenal), I have never, ever heard this for a non-Arsenal man before, but the home crowd saluted it before kick off . .. "Guns forward. Battles Ahead" "(Vichai, Vichai) X 5"
  2. I'm an Arsenal fan, but have been here around the clock since the crash. Initially to leave condolences but also for news. I work with my old man and we have a very close relationship, as the chairman and his son seem to have had. I think that's the reason this has felt very close to home for me, I can't help but imagine what I would feel in a similar situation, I went out for a pint with him last night and told him how much I admire and look up to him. I'm so desperately sorry for you all, he seemed like a giant of a man and none of this is fair. I don't believe in "second teams" but I will root for you always from now on. COYF.
  3. To be fair this fixture had banana skin written all over it. Still very much a work in progress. If we start like that v Liverpool we'll get a proper spanking.
  4. This. Exactly why I don't get my knickers in a twist when we get the odd dodgy decision our way. Officiating in the modern day is a free for all, there is no consistency.
  5. No, but it easy to use single incidents as weapons against a club you have a disdain for, i wont comment on that. I don't like to see it personally, but I stress it is the officials job to referee the match, not the players job to self police themselves.
  6. At the end of the day, it's clear he handballed it, but the role of the referee is to make these calls. We've been on the end of enough crooked decisions in the recent past that I just don't care anymore, if the ref has missed it, fine, get better refs in. Until then, I'll take our goal and off we go. It's not the players role to officiate the game.
  7. In the pictures on Sky of the wreckage (posted in poor taste imo and i dont want to post it here for obvious reasons), the main body of the helicopter is blackened from the fire, but there is what looks like a door about 15 feet away, with no visible fire damage and still with perfect blue paintwork. Obviously its hugely unlikely but at least possible that it means someone got out in time?. Not even a Leicester fan but have been on the forum for hours, it's so desperately sad.
  8. All of us behind you leicester fans.
  9. Arsenal fan here, devastated to hear this earlier. Thoughts with the Leicester family tonight.
