Unrelated to the actual content that goes out but a little story from a couple of years ago when I applied for a Media Assistant role with the club. I was a full-time Media & Communications Manager at a decent club in the National League but saw a media vacancy with the club & thought I’d give it a shot. I went through the process and was offered the role. I remember it well as it was the day after the Newcastle away game in the season where we got relegated - had a good chat with the bloke who had offered me the role and proceeded to hand my notice in. Anyway, what followed was six weeks of very limited communication, albeit the communication I did get was that everything would be fine and that they were just getting paperwork sorted. Eventually I received a call from the HR department explaining that they were no longer able to offer me the job but they’d be in touch if it did again become available They knew I was a season ticket holder at the club and that it was a bit of a dream job for me in a very competitive industry. I moved on from the industry completely in the end

Not sure if I agree with the Ricardo narrative on here. Neither he or Justin are a left-back and playing with a right-footer in that position helps no-one. Therefore, you’re left with the option of Justin/Ricardo at right-back. For me, Justin is more dynamic and a better equipped defender to handle premier league wingers - where does that leave Ricardo? Honestly don’t think cooper is getting it far wrong at all. Also, some people are extremely quick to write of BDCR. Not hard to work out why he’s been favoured at the start of this season.

Strangely enough, I think the two Covid seasons were the most stressful for me. Always felt we’d throw it away both times and constantly looking over our shoulders. I think there was something about watching it from home that made it even more result dependent.

I spotted some empty seats at the bottom of the section today and moved down to the front. The thing I find staggering is the number of people in the immediate rows behind UFS who don’t mutter a word? Literally row upon row of silence, it won’t get better unless Union FS get some proper backing.

Fair play to a few at the back of G1 who gave it a go today - saw the UFS lads look up a few times with what looked like surprised faces in 1st half. Top & middle of SK1 need to up their game.

Been a while for me personally but yes, they always used to let you park in the car park opposite the king power and I doubt it’s any different now. Im also looking at coach travel for this, does anyone know of anything other than FT or Austen Clark

To be fair, I’m at the top of SK1 and it took me until midway through the Cov game to work out exactly what was being said as it sounded muttered. I can see how it might not travel to surrounding areas. I think the wider problem is the number of people who occupy seats in the singing section and don’t sing once. I had multiple around me today who didn’t sing once, but began audibly moaning at the style of play on the 70th minute. Great contribution!!!

I’m actually sick to death of the TV broadcasters. When did anyone ask for Karen Carney on MNF? Who thought these VR graphics were a good idea? Does anyone actually enjoy the new soccer Saturday set-up? Honestly feel like the coverage in this country has regressed drastically in the last five years.
