  1. Beat me to it, Bang On.... Vardy to enter the fray at 65mins, to terrorise a knackered defense. Won't happen though and we will see the same starting 11 the stared against Palace.
  2. Not nonsense there bud. I'm not, and have never been a fan of EnzoBall, both for lack of entertainment factor and the fact we don't have the quality needed nor the resources required to obtain them to ever make it work. But under Cooper we do seem clueless at times, and negative in our approach to the game. I personally would like to see him leave as I've seen enough to make my decision that he's just not good enough, and his style and ethos is wrong for the club and certainly wrong to get the best out of our current players.
  3. You make valid points there. But if Cooper was to use your proposed selection (in bold) which i like by the way, and actually take the defensive handbreak off I think we would also be in a better position already. Ref your final point. I agree we would ship more goals playing EnzoBall again, so I'll stick with my original points of our current team still wouldn't fit his philosophy, so I think we will need to agree too disagree here my friend..
  4. Oh god no... I'm still of the opinion that Enzo and his EnzoBall was was found out towards the back end of the season, hence our healthy lead was eaten in to and the drop in performance and positive results. With our current crop of players his "Philosophy" still wouldn't work. But the major thing for me is "There is no way on god's green earth" that I could sit through the mind numbing, boring to watch, lacking any entertainment, training ground pass fest of EnzoBall. Not for a second time, no.
  5. Total agreement from me on that bud. But I think we will see 50C temps at Xmas before that happens under Cooper The real acid test is what happens when JJ is suspended or injured, who does bring on to start instead?
  6. Valid point... But unless we see him for a few games we will never know. And if he does stink Cooper can always swap on at 60mins for JJ.
  7. He was my 1st choice when we appointed Steve "pooper scooper" I don't think we would go down with him at the helm as he'd get more out of the current crop of players then Cooper. I'm not saying we would be mid table but 17th or just better is achievable with our better players actually on the pitch and playing to their collective strength ( which isn't 7 defensive midfielders and hope to nick something) And no not Potter. He too for me has too much of a defensive mindset. We don't have the players that give is heaven a half world beating defence, so it's suicide to adopt a style that relies on an attribute we don't have.
  8. To follow on from my last post. I was one asking for others at the beginning to give him some time, but I see nothing in him now that warrants me to continue to ask. I've seen enough already for me to decide he just won't and / or can't change. I don't hate the Guy (unlike Rodgers) he's just isn't good enough.. so Bye Bye Steve and thanks for trying.
  9. Ok open question. Fast forward another 5 games, does anyone see him, for the 5 games that is, actually changing he is tactics, his negative, overly defensive at the expense of any real attacking intent team selections, his continued omission of Ricardo at the expense of, and this must be in Cooper's eyes alone, the 'superior' player, in the form of JJ (yeah I know, I shook my head in dismay at that thought when I typed it, but it's actually happening people, Ricardo's not setting foot on the pitch) His aversion to play both Fatawu AND Mavadidi on opposite wings at the same time, even just a little bit Horrendous Sub selections that weaken the set up and keep us overly defensive. ..the list of cluelessness goes on and on, and I weap at the fact. The answer I bet is No.... We have so far played a basic, all be it small cross section of teams. 2 realistically who will push for a Euro spot, and some mid to bottom table quality and so far with Cooper as our manager we have woefully under achieved and seen no real intention from him to adapt and tweak for the opposition. If anyone is convinced that in the next five games we will see anything different to what we are currently being subjected too I'm all ears to listen to your reasoning. But unless Cooper has a Eureka moment and changes some of his ways or the Board have one of their own and change Cooper, its bottom 3 for us boys and girls. Ok time to convince me my opinion is wrong.
  10. I guess on this topic my friend we are going to have a difference of opinion.. Fucando for Ndidi. Mav seemed ok so Fatawu for Jordan. Just an idea, that's 2/3's of our midfield that's freshened up to give the outlet. A midfield that gives their tired defence something to think about and more importantly deal with actually up the pitch and away from our goal. As you posted we were winning and the inevitable being under the cosh for the last 15 mins didn't need an even more defensive posture to invite increasingly more pressure still. It's a shame someone (who I've previously post I wouldn't have subbed on) did fancy giving away a Penno. But as I said it's a matter of opinion
  11. And that's the problem in a nutshell. I'm not saying go all out attack but swap tired attacking players for fresh ones, bring on a true AM for Ndidi. We didn't need to shut up shop even further and invite pressure, we needed to keep on doing what we're were doing, ( until their baffling penalty decision) as it seemed to be working, but with fresher players to execute it.
  12. Agree with your post. But unlike Luton I think we do have just about enough quality to stay up. But I know for sure we can do better still, but what we need is a manager who isn't ... Well Steve Cooper. I bet the club wishes it spent some of the Enzo compensation on Corberan now. ..
  13. Oh I agree with you mate. 100% a penno. My gripe is Coady wasn't needed. We needed a more offensive player to com on, to give us an outlet. Not change the shape to invite more pressure and give away needless penalties by a player who's ring rusty as hell.
  14. I was willing to give him a go, but after that sh1t show of management I've changed my mind
