  1. I think the biggest difference is competent coaching and quality of the players in front. Of all our problems, Vestergaard is not even top 5. Making the step up and signing players like Reid, Skipp and Ayew should in isolation be a reason for sacking for everyone involved. Our squad is shit, the balance of the squad is shit, our manager is shit and our board is the worst in Europe atm. Brace for relegation.
  2. He was last year?
  3. Fvck me some of you guys are miserable. What else could they do to convince you otherwise, other than being top of the league and in the quarters of the FA cup?
  4. Surely offside?
  5. What do people expect when every team we meet sit with 11 men behind the ball for 90 minutes? It’s clearly the other teams making games boring, not Enzo.
  6. As expected we look really good in the build up but struggle to create as we lack the quality going forward. Winks way too good for this level, bossing it!

Gutted about this, him and KDH were the two I wanted us to keep. Everyone talking about 40m will give us 2/3 new players, I’m not that confident in us being able to pull it off, especially knowing our track record of replacing wingers that do well for us.
  8. With the current setup where the LB becomes a LCB in-possession, the LCB becomes a CB in a three and the RCB needs to push wider to cover the space vacated by Ricardo, I really struggle to see which of the three mentioned would be able to play the RCB role. Both Souttar and Vestergaard would ideally play the role Coady plays. Think we’ll have to ship out two of them and bring in a new RCB.
  9. If we’re playing this system we really have a job to do in the market. Loads of players that can play at the back, but not enough going forward. I cannot see us having the luxury of keeping Thomas, Kristensen, Doyle, Vestergaard, Coady, Souttar, Faes, Nelson, Justin and Pereira all competing for four positions!
  10. I reckon we’re gonna enjoy this Ricardo-Winks pivot in-possession a lot this season.

That’s worst thing I’ve read on this forum.
  12. At least the games will be fast paced and entertaining, considering the dire fvcking football I’ve been watching from us the last 18 months or more - that’s all I need.
  13. He is not the issue. Keep in mind the amount of international players or in contention for international football players we have. Don’t you find it strange that this guy can’t make any of them work within his «system»? I refuse to believe there is any plan, not considering «playing out from the back» as a plan. Why Brendan? Why are you playing out from the back? It’s not wrong, but please define the idea behind it you fraud. i cba, the football is boring, his answers are boring and the players are suffering.
  14. Oliver Glasner or Bo Svensson.
  15. I think Ralph Hasenhüttl would be a good option. High pressing, vertical football that would suit our squad!
