Some of the posts oh here over the weekend have been embarrassing. The club has never been in a better place than it is now, brilliant owners, best British manager in charge, an excellent young squad, and a new state of the art training ground being built. But you cringeworthy idiots just have to look for the negative in anything, linked with a player in a paper, people up in arms, new staff member people ripping the club apart, I've even seen a post calling for Rodgers out. Some of you need to take a long hard look in the mirror, embarrassing.

Personally I think Rodgers is very lucky, the work to the squad needed is quite streight forward. Release. Simpson Okazaki Fuchs Sell. King James Slimani Mendy Jakupovic Ghezzal Silva (swap) Diabate Buy. Tielemans Mitrovic Adams/Sturridge Seri/Billing Bowen loan a few youngsters and happy days. if only if it was that easy eh....

I heard last week we are going all out for Bailey. He's well sort after but we are close to agreeing a deal with the club, just got to put a decent package together for the player to persuade him to come now instead of waiting for a "bigger" club next season. Maybe this is what @themightyfin is alluding too.

Just out of interest, from the pictures you saw, would you compare it to any other new stadiums out there, just to give us a bit of an idea.

If Brighton sign him, we obviously wasn't that into him. If that is the cast, I'm sure we have so one lined up. Saying that, if we aren't heavily linked with a "replacement" this time next week then I will be slightly concerned.

There will always be a "bigger" club no matter if your Leicester, Liverpool, Utd... Maybe be Barca/Real as the exception, hence why the debate will never be settled.
