  1. Dunno really about Zaha, but Palace seem to be more dangerous with him. Shaqiri I like, but he's always looked unfit to me, and he's temperamental. Diabate surprised me when he played against Peterborough, looks as though he's unselfish and has a lot of skill - also seemed to be somewhat creative. In the vacuum of Mahrez, he could be the answer - When he's a shoe-in and not nurtured. He just seems to be a little "slight" for the PL. We also gotta see who Puel has ear-marked in the Summer!!
  2. But it isn't is it (that is, of course, without James in the mix), Sharp one-two's will always get my heart going, no matter who is doing it... That Leicester do it makes me extremely proud... From your cynicism - I can see that you don't / won't / can't understand. Strangely enough, when we lost to Cheatski in the cup (we were Championship then - You were probably in diapers), I thought "Wah! That's the difference between the PL and the rest"
  3. I enjoy the passing game that Puel has pioneered, it certainly is more progressive than the (found-out and easily defendable) AAAy-Up-And-Under. I think that only bad luck (Good Goalies and wood work) has impacted on his general philosophy. He's had to work with what he's inherited, and maybe can fill in his gaps in the Summer - But (like Wenger) I don't see him dishing out silly money for inflated egos. Diabate springs to mind, also giving Choudhury the chance - We still have the chance to the Up-and-Under, but now it's not so predictable and the opposition cannot simply prepare for a one-trick pony. We're safe this year, wait 'til next season to get your knives out please, let's see how it goes when he has established his processes.
  4. And to quote the Boss, "Blind faith in your Leaders os gonna get you killed". Mahrez (or his agent), overstepped the line - 'I woulda let him go, but (correctly), with the silly money flying around for non inspirational material, the Board are combating this "easy touch" philosophy. Kante to Cheatski for 30M was ridiculous (Drinky too, but in a different way). The 400k argument touted by yer so-called experts is also a laugh!!
  5. Although I love Marc Albrighton and he was a good acquisition - Do you really think that he's been playing well for the last few games? This has nothing to do with the penalty - at least he was back, trying to help out... Gray, although raw, is another unpredictable that can win a game on his day!!
  6. I believe everybody is missing the important point - we're missing our catalyst - Shinji.... of course, it doesn't help that Claude has released our options of Ulloa and the injured Slimani. At least we could change it round a bit. Albrighton has been really terrible these last few games. What's happened to Gray - is he injured? I find KingFox's comments fairly realistic.
  7. There's always me in Sunny Munich (Giesing - '60 part), quite a lot of locals have taken an interest in AaaarghLestah!! since I became a fixture here. I have organised quite a few mass trips to King Power, before 2004 and in the Championship, but now it's hard to scrounge even a coupla tickets, for any game!! Really good to see that we're rated as one of the best supported teams in the Premiership (I remember the old daze at Filbert Street with less than 15,000 averages). I'm still trying to decide over Xmas, my daughter wants to visit a cousin in Edinburgh. If that falls through I'll get for the Shitty and Bournemouth Games. My best friend and I (I met him 'cus his missus parked outside my flat with a "Follow me and Leicester" sticker on the back window, he is, of course, German - who discovered Leicester in Vienna when they took part in a Tournament along with 1860.), now, where was I? Oh yes, Steger and I are coming over 26th February to catch the Norwich, Albion and Watford games, flying back on the Sunday. Hope to here from yous.... Maybe we can organise/galvanise something in Germany together. HunKs
