  1. Yeah in dire need of reinforcements.
  2. Don't see the big deal with Che Adams tbh anytime I've watched him, looks a decent Championship level striker but can't see him being anything more than average at EPL level. I'm surprised there's not been any mention of Rodgers being mentioned with someone like Tammy Abraham.
  3. Yeah this is it exactly, EPL clubs really should be doing similar given the vast riches sloshing about English football, attending matches on a regular basis is becoming less and less accessible for the ordinary man in the street where it should be the exact opposite given how much money clubs make now.
  4. No lol! Hopefully Congerton hasn't left another list lying around with him on it lol!
  5. Your correct actually, just done a quick google and it seems the average price of a season ticket at Dortmund is 250 euros, that really is superb. My season ticket at Celtic Park is close to £600 for comparison.
  6. Similar to Celtic I imagine the bulk of Dortmunds income comes from selling 55k+ season tickets every season. They'll obviously have a decent TV deal on top of that as well. A very well run club these days. Mad to think they almost went out of business a little over a decade ago and had to be bailed out by a charity payment by Bayern.
  7. There would be a nuclear explosion now if Turnbull was to turn up on loan lol! Pretty annoyed at missing out on him and the way it's played out as like you say his stats are impressive and looks to be one of the best Scottish youngsters to come through in quite some time. As hard as it is to accept that's just the way it is now I guess when clubs in the EPL can blow us out the water financially in terms of wages, etc. I do think at this stage in his career Celtic would have been a better move for him than fighting relegation with Norwich. Norwich start the season poorly and he won't be seen much imo.
  8. Surely the ship has sailed now with Kapustka, Rodgers is a great manager but not a miracle worker! The guy has done absolutely zero of note anywhere he's been out on loan.
  9. I really can't see it happening but Martial would be a terrific signing, especially with Rodgers to develop him.
  10. I hope Man Utd remain in this endless cycle of spending vast amounts of money, turning over managers, all to remain in mediocrity, by their standards anyway.
  11. Nah not at all tbh, although there is still quite a bit of bitterness among some sections of the support about how he left most of the ire at the moment is directed at the board. This is for not spending adequately in the transfer market and properly planning for replacing players who we've known for a couple of years that would leave or would be no longer up to the job. If we blow any title before the 10 then the board will be firmly to blame in the fans' eyes. No one will criticise the job Rodgers done, quite the opposite, any animosity towards him is around how he handled his exit.
  12. Yeah it's not sustainable, fear a right shocker of a season at some point of a result, the price of success I guess.
  13. Haha wouldn;t say I'm an ITK but hear the odd thing now and again second hand. Wouldn't nail my colours to the mast on this one but noises were a couple of months ago were that McGregor was keen to follow Rodgers down to Leicester.
  14. A good point this, this is basically the reason Tierney has struggled with injury the last three months. Guys like him, McGregor and Forrest have played 60+ games for three seasons in a row now with only around a fortnight's break in the summer, if that.
  15. Yeah yesterday this morning, the players who weren't away with their interational squads had the grand total of 2.5 weeks off lol!
  16. It has been tbh, had horrific level of injuries this season.
  17. Thanks very much mate, appreciate you guys having me it’s a cracking forum ?
  18. Yeah and the insane thing is he missed 4-5 games when he was out injured for a month at one point lol!
  19. Yeah exactly, Pellegrini, Barrlea and Zaniolo are top players themselves and for the early part of the match couldn’t get close to him.
  20. Watched that match and seen him a few times this season and thought the same, he would be a terrific signing for pretty much any of the EPL clubs.
  21. I think Bailly would be an excellent signing for Leicester if that sort of deal could be done, could imagine Rodgers really bringing him on. Unfortunately I reckon the sort of player Man Utd will be open to including would be catastrophes like Smalling and Jones.
  22. We’re back this morning but I reckon McGregor may have another week off as he only just finished up last week after playing in the Scotland game which was his 69th match of the season.
  23. Yeah exactly right he can play holding midfield as effectively as the attacking midfield position. In fact he played in the deeper role for Celtic for the majority of last season, which explains why he scored a lot less goals than the season before where he was used primarily further forward.
  24. I’m on a Celtic forum already and tbh everyone on here seems to be absolutely fine with me posting apart from you and your tiresome, ill informed, relentless digs at anything Celtic or Scottish football related. As said you sound like a mirror image of Sutton.
