  1. Can't help but think he was an absolute no brainer of a signing. Absolute worst case scenario and he flopped a Championship club would have given us our money back.
  2. I'm surprised that for the relatively low fee Faivre looks to be going for that we weren't interested. May have been hard to entice him anyways if Bayern are indeed interested.
  3. I don't think a sample size of two games really tells you much, hence why I took a more meaningful sample size in the 38 games of last season.
  4. 2 goals and 2 assists and 6 big chances created in the entirety of last season. I'm not sure how thats "loads" however you want to try and frame it.
  5. He's been absolutely horrific tonight. I don't watch him every week so may be a bit off here but he seems to make too many mistakes and looks a shadow of the player without Evans next to him.
  6. Traore neither scores nor creates, he's just a runner. I don't see him being dynamite in any team with any personnel tbh, vastly overrated.
  7. Someone chucks £35m at them given they are staring down the barrel of no champions league football and they'd start entertaining things.
  8. Faivre having a magnificent game against PSG here, would take him, surprised he's still at Brest in all honesty.
  9. Oh god no he is a bomb scare!
  10. Really think it's now or never if we are to sign him. He has another good season and he's out of reach in terms of the clubs that will court him, a few of the elite clubs are already sniffing around should speculation be believed. Worth spending some of next year's budget to get him now imo, this lad is going to be a star.
  11. Yeah he's been an absolute breath of fresh air, an amazing find.
  12. The last few games have been brilliant to watch, Celtic are playing some breathtaking football right now. It's unbelievable the change in such a short space of time. It's right up there with some of the football we played in Rodgers' first season. We seem to have found an absolute diamond in Kyogo and if we can tighten things up at the back then I think we could get our title back this season.
  13. Don't think you can say that in all honesty. As an aside spending wads of cash doesn't guarantee you the right guy either.
  14. I'd argue a left footed (ideally) right sided attacker has been the priority since Rodgers walked in the door and it still hasn't been addressed.
  15. He played against us way back in 2016 in the champions league for Monchengladbach and cruised it when they beat us 2-0 at Celtic park, which then was a mean feat as not many sides had beaten us at home in Europe in those days, even in the Champions league. I remember Rodgers name checking him in the post match interview so I think he's been watching his career closely since even way back then. I think for the price, the low level of risk and a bunch of other factors this will be a very astute signing.
  16. I think he'll be a threat in both boxes also and could nick a few goals over the course of a season, something that has been lacking from set pieces.
  17. Really like the look of this Henry lad, hope we get him.
  18. Couldn't agree more. The danger is he becomes too expensive and/or out of reach in a season. Would love Madueke to sign, frightening how good he could be in a couple of years and I reckon he'd make a sizeable contribution right away.
  19. Was on holiday mate and decided to stay away from my phone and computer the whole time!
  20. Fofana and Soyuncu could be better than him if they fulfil their potential but I'd say the Lenglet of his final season at Sevilla and first season at Barcelona is better than all three of the above currently. The risk of course is if he can recapture that form.
  21. He had an excellent first season for them so that comment is a bit harsh, like I said he had a crisis of confidence last season that he didn't really recover from.
  22. Lenglet as much as he had a poor season last season would be a terrific signing. A far better player than the likes of Kabak who have been mentioned and unlike guys like Kabak I think he's someone who is arguably better than what is already at the club at CB, if he can rediscover his form of prior to last season. I watched a lot of Barcelona last season and the guy basically had a crisis of confidence. If you watched their games he performed quite solidly in the main and then undone it a number of times by having a brain fart and selling a goal or getting sent off. This has only been the case last season and I think a fresh start would see him discover his old form. This would be a coup of a signing, he's entering his peak years now, he's a threat in both boxes and an international for one of the top international teams in the world. An absolute no brainer if he's up for the move.
