  1. He's out of contract in a year, Dyche can say whatever he likes but come mid August and he's still there and still not signed a new deal they'll have to take what they can get.
  2. Your also asking for Amartey to try and help look after Harry Kane which is a terrifying thought. The decision of the substitution in isolation I don't think he had many options in all honesty. Selection, tactics and all that aside though it was heinous not being able to see that game out.
  3. I detest these type of tactical fouls in the modern game. Can blame Guardiola for the commonality of this nowadays.
  4. Pains me to say it but an arse collapse is the only way to describe that. Coasting with thirty minutes to go.
  5. On the face of it that's a decent shout but apparently Lyon ant £30m which is too much. Someone like Tarkowski come August at £15-20m given his contract situation may represent better value.
  6. Yeah he's deceiving that way as he's got quite a languid style in terms of running.
  7. James is utterly garbage, can run but not much else.
  8. If Edouard or any other out and out type of striker signs then yeah think your exactly right. Seems like a defining summer in that sense in terms of the shape of the side going forward.
  9. In all honesty the speed of the game up here is quicker but obviously lacking in quality and technique. It's a blood and thunder type quickness up here, particularly for strikers as most of the pitches at away grounds are really small and as soon as your in possession some big ugly centre half smashes through the back of you. You definitely get more time on the ball in that sense in England, however less mistakes are made and there are less opportunities to score as a result so you have to think far quicker and be more clinical. Games up here, particularly home games, in a decent Celtic side our strikers will get 4 or 5 really good chances in a match. Vastly different from England, think of the amount of games Vardy barely gets a sniff but the one chance he does get it's more often than not in the back of the net.
  10. I don't see him playing in the wide right position working at all in honesty. His natural instinct when playing centrally is to peel left.
  11. If the EL is taken seriously then there is absolutely no reason why winning it isn't possible. In fact if the money 6 spend serious money in the summer it may actually represent the path of least resistance towards the Champions League.
  12. Apparently this deal has been agreed in principle since January.
  13. Slim chance of that, Barcelona are in dire straits financially and need the money now.
  14. Don't forget Steve Walford, he was the brains in a coaching sense of O'Neill's operation.
  15. Like you allude to every club has this brains trust element but as far as I can see with Leicester it really is a small minority. Social media and online platforms probably give this element an artifically amplified mouth unfortunately. Think yourself lucky in that sense when you see the "minority" Rangers have who destroyed each other and their own city again at the weekend while "celebrating".
  16. I actually think he's one of those type of players who is better for playing week in and week out.
  17. I played lower league level in Scotland for a few years so encountered him playing his Motherwell and Aberdeen sides in the cup then another time he was at a table next to me in a restaurant.
  18. Arrogant, pompous a-hole who goes on as if he's a manager in the same vein as Guardiola.
  19. I've had the unpleasurable experience of being in his company a few times.
  20. McGhee is a complete **** of a man.
  21. Can totally relate to this, I grew up in a similar era where Rangers almost signed Ronaldo and were spending more money than anyone in world football!, who'd have thought a mere 20 years later they would cease to exist
  22. Fne if you've got £30m extra lying down the back of the couch as that's what he'd cost.
  23. I'd agree with this, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea aside I think Leicester are the most attractive club for a prospective player to join in the EPL right now.
  24. I think signing such a player would be the worst thing we could do. Both financially and for squad harmony. Stick with what has worked so well, sign young hungry players on the way up that can be sold for vast profits that allow the club to continue growing. Not overpaid players on the way down, with little to prove and no re-sale valu.
