  1. He's the last person I want to see back at Celtic Park.
  2. Yeah that's right per capita, I guess Celtic and Rangers heavily skew it that way.
  3. I was more worried about that before relegation! Spurs are my main area of concern for him now given the news of the past week!
  4. Reason being he became a bit of a head case. Created dossiers of how he thought chairmen were spying on him, etc. Getting caught up in an orgy type scandal probably never helped him either.
  5. Worst still, they have let him Peak Scottish football
  6. I think he'd be a really progressive appointment and the thing with him is I reckon he'd still want to come even in the event of relegation.
  7. If you read my post I'm not writing him off simply on his time at Rangers I mention Feyenoord too. Although he won the league with them their fans were also happy to see the back of him in the end. He was crap in China too. Therefore, as a manager, he's had 1 season so far in his career that you could term a resounding success.
  8. Been awful everywhere apart from his first managerial job with Feyenoord and by the end they were happy to see the back of him as the football was like pensioners walking football.
  9. Without a doubt, he'd be an absolutely horrific appointment though.
  10. Could be wrong but I reckon if relegation is avoided (big if I know) Potter will have a straight decision between Leicester and West Ham.
  11. Putting myself up to get shot at here but it won’t be next season imo. I think next season will likely be his last with us though and after that he’ll go for a shot at the EPL with everyone’s blessing.
  12. I’ll try and say this as politely as I can… Feck the feck off!
  13. Yeah pretty mad, only 1 team, Raith Rovers know what league they'll be playing in for definite next season.
  14. That’s just from this season, the reduced allocation started a few years ago and it was nothing to do with police or any incidents. If anything the incidents have got worse since Rangers cut the allocations initially. The Celtic physio had his head split open with a bottle and Joe Hart had a bottle thrown at him that hit the cross bar and smashed in the goal mouth. The police didn’t step in after any of those incidents and insist on no fans. The reason the police have intervened now as it’s actually more problematic for them to police inside and outside the ground from a segregation point of view with 700 fans at either ground than it was when each sets of fans had an entire stand with isolated access, etc. That’s from the horses mouth from a friends relative who is the third in command in Policr Scotland. Hopefully no fans leads to Rangers putting the dummy back in and going back to the old allocations. That’s what fans of both sides who actually go the games prefer. Celtic have been consistent and public that they wish to go back to the old allocation and were against it being cut in the first place.
  15. No, nothing to do with that. Rangers decided to start this by reducing allocations after we were regularly humping them at Ibrox under rodgers. Typically the safest place to be in Glasgow on old form day is at the game.
  16. I don't think guys like Frank or De Zerbi would look at the job, they've already got a good thing going where they are right now, would be a huge risk to jump ship for a team fighting relegation. Potter is a no brainer and the realistic stand-out candidate imo. Short-term though just need someone to get to 40 points.
  17. The players shouldn’t have to go over his head to get him sacked. If Top and Whelan were doing their job properly he would have been sacked long ago without the need for such drastic measures.
  18. Absolute pish that tonight. Hes got to go, in 3+ years he’s taken what was a young, exciting team with loads of potential and dismembered it with a claw hammer.
  19. Not recently mate, heard rumours at the summer window just past mind you. O'Riley is a good player with the potential to become a great player but he's not ready for the EPL yet, not by a long way and certainly not ready to come in and improve Leicester right now. One day perhaps but he needs a bit of developing still.
  20. Kent isn't good enough for Leicester, he's far too inconsistent and his numbers even in Scotland don't make for great reading. The Rangers fans were wanting him chased for most of the last couple of years. Even if he was decent he's a right footed wide left player so he's not what Leicester need and a huge downgrade on Harvey Barnes in the same position. Be amazed if there's an ounce of truth in this. Likely a slow news day so we'll link Rodgers with some player who was there in his time in Scotland.
  21. Who Bassey, Aribo and Patterson? Bassey is being absolutely slammed in the Dutch media as the worst signing in Ajax's history, Aribo can barely make the match day squad for the team bottom of the EPL and Patterson is part of an Everton side seemingly destined for the drop.
