  1. The man has been a disaster at every club he's haunted, sometimes the answer is staring you slap bang in the face, as in this case.
  2. An asbsolute tosser of a man.
  3. I wouldn't sign another single player while Rodgers is still here, he'll waste the money on another donkey. I get that's dicing with death to an extent with the looming threat of relegation but the ideal scenario for me is to cut him loose and clear the decks come the summer and start again, or at least start doing what brought success before.
  4. Time for him and everyone else to be put out their misery. just sack him ffs.
  5. That theory is all well and good if the club stays in the premier league. It's a big gamble they are taking at this point if that is their policy.
  6. Too small if they want to become a permanent fixture in the top league. There are non-league grounds up here that hold more.
  7. Probably going faster than they intended which may become a problem as lesser Hampden isn't finished yet and even if they do get it finished and they go up this year it won't be close to the criteria required to be allowed to host top flight games.
  8. Feels like a death by a thousand cuts now, for everyone concerned, even Rodgers himself. Have no doubt he'd be a happy man if he was cut loose tomorrow with his contract paid up. Feels a bit like the Solskjaer scenario that had the arse dragged out of it at Man Utd. Horrendous runs of results and then a couple of opportune results at the right time that allowed him to limp on a bit longer. The only danger in this case is the looming threat of relegation.
  9. A shambles isn’t it, Rangers started it because we routinely humped them at Ibrox. Needs to go back to how it used to be, takes something away from the atmosphere having little to No away fans.
  10. Talking from a Celtic point of view but absolutely love the man to this day, could still listen to him speak all day and is the greatest Celtic manager I've seen in my lifetime by some distance. Had the pleasure of meeting him once or twice and they say never meet your heroes but he was the exception to this rule, he was brilliant, so friendly and genuinely interested in what he had to say! He was the catalyst for a huge power shift in Glasgow that remains to this day, Celtic have won 16 out of 22 titles since he arrived and probably about 80% of all trophies on offer. We don't call him blessed Martin in Glasgow for nothing.
  11. Mick Beale it is then. More chance of Ian Beale posing a threat to Celtic!
  12. I heard earlier Beale is due at Ibrox tonight, apparently he and his family loved it up here. He was floating about Rangers pubs in Glasgow as recently as a couple of weeks ago too. Knutsen has been pretty vocal already shooting down the prospect of him going there or indeed anywhere else in the short-term. https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/kjetil-knutsen-defiant-rangers-response-25514650
  13. Specualtion the now suggests it'll be Michael Beale, would be happy with that, Ange will dispatch him also.
  14. Add in all the backroom staff he was allowed to bring in and they were all on 3.5 year contracts and it's pretty realistic.
  15. Done it again yesterday Rangers lost today also, league title will be getting delivered by father christmas this year, lovely jubbly!
  16. Owner needs to be stronger, Rodgers is an absolute politician and is pulling the wool over his eyes.
  17. Good point. Champions league money is utterly massive for us, just for qualifying we can expect to make around £40m when you add in gate receipts. For context we get £3.5m or somewhere around that figure for prize money and TV rights for winning the SPFL.
  18. I’d take Mike Basset at this stage.
  19. It works both ways, the team on the pitch need to show something for the fans to get behind.
  20. I'd rather have my hemaroid back. Thanks all the same!
  21. No offence but Simeone or Tuchel ain't touching the Leicester job with a 100 foot pole, not now and likely not ever. This thinking not exclusive to on here of course, there were Celtic fans who thought we had a shot at Mourinho after Lennon was sacked. Madness.
  22. No thanks, hope he never darkens our door again.
