  1. I like him, well aside from the fact he's a rangers player Good technically, gets about the pitch well and very composed in possession and doesn't try and do anything he can't. Whether he's good enough to play week in week out for a top 6 EPL side I'm not so sure but I reckon he'd be a good squad option and I doubt he'd cost much.
  2. Love the wee guy, excellent midfield player.
  3. He's complete rubbish, for the level he's trying to play at anyway.
  4. I agree with this. The smart thing to do is now sign someone who is an able deputy for him that you can trust in less important fixtures and in doing that you may get another 12-18 months out of him than you ordinarily would have.
  5. Can I have some of what your smoking tonight please
  6. The thought of relying on Iheanacho is terrifyng. Would be amazed if it came to that though. I think it'll be a similar scenario to when we had to manage life without Larsson (notice I never used the word replace), it took us a few goes to ge someone to come in and get anywhere near the output we needed and I think it'll be the same when Vardy hangs up his boots.
  7. I reckon we could find a better option at a better price pretty easily tbh.
  8. Did he not do exactly the same this time last season at West Ham and win? This one ain't on Rodgers, we played very well the first-half which shows we were set up well. Poor finishing to blame today.
  9. The B side should have been about three up at half-time tbf if Iheanacho even resembled a decent striker.
  10. It's the most perfect height for the goalkeeper. Also very weak. Put your foot through it ffs.
  11. No manager ever gets everything they feel they need in a season in terms of players. He was backed superbly in the summer given the backdrop of covid and everything else.
  12. Depay is Barcelona bound and Dembele hates Rodgers. Agree with the general point though, a few bargains to be had for sure.
  13. He plays his fair share of games given he's a bit of a utility player and has been linked with clubs like Napoli etc recently. He'd cost a fair wedge in terms of transfer fee and wages, Man city ain't going to let anyone go who is young and plays semi regularly for them for less than £20m which is very expensive for someone who will be back-up.
  14. Look at my previous post, I gave him kudos for the Castagne signing so that debunks that theory.
  15. He did blow millions. A lot of money by our terms. Signed Compper, paid him 30k a week for 2.5 years and he was good enough to play 55 minutes for us in that time. There are countless others I could go on about that I've already documented on the forum previously. He was also not at the club when we signed Scott Allan. Those punts at relative pennies aren't a problem tbh either, 1 in every 10 of them seems to work for us which is decent enough in that market and offsets the project type signings that don't work. We had a decent record of buying players fo modest sums developing them and then selling them on to the EPL before he arrived. Since he's arrived and through to now though that's all changed. I hope he doesn't do too much damage at Leicester of course as I've grown to become attached to the club but he'll always be a charlatan in my eyes and my instinct will always be that recruitment at Leicester continues to be good in spite of him rather than because of him.
  16. No way to tell if that was him or the already successful scouting operation tbh.
  17. As much as I despise the man he deserves credit for this one. A broken clock and all that.
  18. This. Would be plain daft to sign someone like Zinchenko as a back-up option.
