  1. Olise was strongly linked to us (Celtic) when Rodgers was manager, the window before he left iirc. Not sure if he'd even played first team football at that point.
  2. I'd imagine this is lazy journalism, he's nowhere near good enough for a top EPL side. A mid to lower side perhaps but not at the level of Leicester.
  3. He is yeah Not only that though, his behaviour and attitude and general shite play when he plays for Scotland is a disgrace A gu who was playing for Livingston 6 months ago keeps him out the Scotland game.
  4. Not hearsay just look at his social media or his various misdemenours and acting like a general bell end off the park!
  5. Yeah like I said, hindsight a wonderful thing. Apparently we got a £20m offer from a middling bundesliga club in the summer but he didn't want to go there.
  6. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we should probably have sold him this summer and used the money for Toney instead of keeping him and signing Ajeti.
  7. Edouard will be available for buttons, in EPL terms anyway come the summer, or maybe sooner.
  8. McBurnie is one of the worst examples of a centre forward I've ever set eyes on. He's about as dangerous as a balloon on the end of a stick and he's a detestable scrote of a boy into the bargain. It's a no from me.
  9. Tbh we done well against them this season, not many teams I could say that about but he was the one that stood out for me against us, always looked dangerous.
  10. Perhaps physically there's less load on someone like Fuchs who mainly plays LCB than the guys you mention. I'd always say defence is the area of the side you want to rotate least.
  11. He's a different type of player to Tielemans, more of a link man who plays a sort of number 10 role between midfield and attack. He likes to drift all across that area of the pitch and pick up the ball on both sides.
  12. Botman looked a bit of a nightmare in both games against us this season and he's had a ropey few games in Ligue 1 too when i've seen them. Has potential though but miles away from being EPL ready.
  13. He's a class act, they're best player from what I've seen, well him and Renato Sanches.
  14. Seen quite a bit of them this season. They have some excellent players, main ones who have impressed me are Renato Sanches (think he'd be unattainable though), Yusuf Yazici, Luiz Araujo, Jonathan Bamba, Jonathan Ikone and Boubakary Soumare (he may be unattainable also). Conversely, thought Jonathan David has looked utter mince.
  15. Yeah I think there's definitely an element of that. It was the same when he left us, we all ahd the same conversations around he won't walk out on us before the 10 but like it or lump it these guys own careers come first, add in the ego and they'll always take the opportunity to move onto a bigger club or bigger league.
  16. I don't think the fans there would accept him given how mch of a joke figure he became at Liverpool.
  17. The way it typically works with managers is the club has to buy out the rest of the managers contract as way of compensation.
  18. My only worry with this is Rodgers ego and I don't mean that as a snipe at the guy but he does have an ego. He may look at Arsenal as a big club that have hit rock bottom and it's a no lose situation for him and it wouldn't take too much to improve them from where they are. I might be wrong but that's my only fear. If he did take the job I could see him taking them to top 6 sort of position pretty quickly.
  19. Yeah I know someone fairly well who worked directly for him when he was at Celtic who said he would go on about the Arsenal job quite a lot. I was quite surprised as I never really thought of any obvious link with Arsenal with him. Could be something or nothing who knows.
  20. Not meaning to be pedantic but it's Wolfsberger, an Austrian side, not Wolfsburg the German side. They've actually done alright in Europe the last couple of seasons.
  21. Is there no end to the greed of these clubs? They seem hell bent on allowing football to eat itself.
  22. I don't think there is another player in world football that I have a greater hatred towards than Oli McBurnie.
