  1. Dreadful? Really? Can't remember us getting any real sore ones over the last couple of years, Liverpool last season aside and even then they can do that to most sides in Europe if they are in the mood.
  2. See my next post, which was posted before I saw this!
  3. The real positive mood on the forum lately is inspiring. Sometimes I'd think w're in the mire of a relegaton battle if I didn't know better.
  4. I don't think slower I think he means when the chance to counter-attack was presented t was too rushed and lacking in composure.
  5. I agree with this but it seems a lot of people just choose to ignore the why. A large part of not being at it, not stringing passes together and not getting the ball into the box is in large part sue to playing against a top side, who pressed and played in such a way that didn't allow Leicester to be at it.
  6. I'm not sure there's too much merit in criticising Tielemans, Maddison, etc too much. They are quite simply playing against better players and if they turn up and are in the mood pretty much every oher midfield 3 in the league will struggle against them.
  7. Beaten by a better side, no shame in it. That happens over the course of a season. Could we have made a better fist of it, of course. Is there much point in over analysing and picking tons of holes in it, no. The key thing is to recover from it and go on a decent run and put some more points on the board, sitting in a great position still. Honurable mention to Justin, been critical of him in the past but he's really kicking on and developing, looks far more assured defensively and always looked decent going forward.
  8. There's been two chances that really should have been put away, the Barnes one and the stramash in the box about ten minutes ago.
  9. This is a completely different season. That means nothing in the context of this game. If one game can derail your season then there are big problems. There aren't and this won't of course but that's too rational and not hysterical enough for some.
  10. This is exactly it. No need to berate and chastise and throw the toys out of the pram in losing against one of the top 3 sides in Europe away from home.
  11. There's not many, if any further implications than this one, this game decides nothing. There are still 29 league games to go.
  12. Man City a matter of weeks ago? 9 times out of 10 Liverpool will beat Leicester, they are a better side, it's a fact of life. There's no need for the usual mass inquest or post-mortem in this case tonight imo.
  13. Bit harsh imo. Rodgers has shown this season he's able to adapt. Getting beat off a better team, not much more to it than that, at the moment anyway.
  14. Yeah this was post Wednesday I read it. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-injury-defence-team-news-19302078
  15. Yeah he did but read after it he's struggling with a hamstring issue. Not sure if it's enough to keep him out or not.
  16. Robertson is a doubt too. He picked up a hamstring complaint on international duty.
  17. I wouldn't like to see him go to PSG tbh, he could do better.
  18. Do you not think Ricardo's time out injured may inhibit that? If he hadn't been out for so long I'd totally agree. I guess the rumours of looking for left back's may suggest what you say is true. As fine a player as he is he may be one that's worth cashing in on gven his age and how strong the other options at right back currently are.
  19. Ridiculous isn't it. The epitome of the misnomer that is manipulating stats to suit an already arrived at narrative.
  20. New club bounce can attribute for a lot. Having worked with the player for almost two years now I'd trust Rodgers judgement on this one.
