  1. Hahahahaha I think you need to go back and check such posts my friend, I did not say that, nor will I ever say it, nor will I ever think it. I actually lambasted the guy who said that so please get your facts your right. Well done on making an absolute tit of yourself.
  2. Perez has not really had a chance there, and on last night's viewing and most times I've seen Iheanacho start previously he's been useless. I'm not saying Perez will be the answer but with Vardy out you need to at least try something different as it's plainly not working with Iheanacho as Vardy's replacement.
  3. I agree with this, I think this adds to the pressure on everyone tbh. I think Rodgers is a great coach but he is vastly overpaid if you ask me.
  4. Yeah I get that but I guess I can look at it a bit more objectively from the outside a tad. I've watched him a fair bit now this season and last and he just hasn't go it imo. I really don't see him being this great link man either, he may be less bad at that than the rest of his forward play but he still doesn't strike me as being particularly amazing at it. I don't see him ever being good enough to be a regular starter at any EPL club in all honesty. It's time to give Perez a go up there imo.
  5. Iheanacho can't be relied on to start at all, the guy is mince.
  6. Martin O'Neill at the time was the hottest property on the market and was an absolute legend for us though. Agree on the whole though, Lennon is the cheap option and a yes man.
  7. He was open to coming to Celtic and we opted to ignore him and go for Lennon instead.
  8. No manager in the land ever gets anything they want every window, he got three vey good signings this window and when you consider the backdrop of Covid the board have done they're bit in backing him.
  9. I've been pretty critical of him defensively but thought he done well tonight, looked a lot more solid.
  10. Maybe time for him to come back and save our season then
  11. Slimani has acually looked quite tidy and put himself about. He'd be my number 2 striker this season, Iheanacho is mince.
  12. He'll never be good enough for a top EPL side in terms of starting games.
  13. Fofana looks great thus far, easy to forget he's a teenager playing his first EPL game. Has slotted in as if he's been playing there all his life.
  14. Hoping to be significantly cheered up with a comprehensive victory tonight. Otherwise I'm taking up indoor carpet bowls.
  15. I think this is right and also think it's the right approach. The best way to improve the squad is by improving the first XI.
  16. I'd try and get Benrahma and offer Gray in exchange plus some money.
  17. You'd imagine any side taking him on loan would want to lock in a reasonable option to buy.
  18. Your missing the whole point, it's not about players getting into the top 6 sides it's being able to pay for them. You currently have a wages to turnover ratio of circa 80%. If these teams left the league, like I said the league would be far less commercially valuable which means it would generate less money from broadcasters, sponsorship and everything else, that means the clubs would get less and they wouldn't be able to pay the players they currently have nor could they then attract the same standard of player with less money. It's not rocket science.
  19. I also think a bit of perspective is needed here, Leicester are riding on the crest of a wave going through one of the best periods in their history so despite all this noise t's a great time to be a Leicester fan. Support your team through thick and thin regardless of what happens externally.
  20. I'm not saying these proposed changes should pass, they are abhorrent and a disgrace and hopefully they never see the light of day However, if you think these teams could leave the league and you could still operate on the same level, attracting and retaining the same level of player then you are living in a fantasy land. Any league in Europe no matter how big or small would become significantly less commercially valuable should the strongest teams in it up sticks and play somewhere else.
  21. It most definitely wouldn't as the product would be worth far less without these teams which would give the remaining sides less money to pay players and the standard of player clubs would be able to attract and keep would undoubtedly drop.
  22. This is the reality. If the big six or 9 or whatever you want to brand them disappear the gravy train that is the EPL currently will disappear just as quickly. No broadcaster is going to pay top dollar for the top of the bill being Leicester v Newcastle and I mean that with the greatest of respect. The English league would become something on a par with the dutch league or whatever.
  23. With the commercialisation of the big leagues that already happens. I have young cousins who along with all their friends who have an English team, a Spanish team, etc, etc which is a nonsense.
