  1. We play like last night and we might not even make the group stages If we do though we are probably nailed on to be in the same group What's the seedings situation? Think we are likely to be a pot 2 side should we make the groups.
  2. Agree with this. The two players in our squad at the moment I think would be a success in the EPL would be McGregor and Edouard, the rest would struggle. I think Frimpong will be good enough in time but not quite yet.
  3. McGregor is ten times the player Christie is.
  4. Could be but if there's any truth to the rumour Praet is away then it would make sense to me.
  5. I'm pretty much resigned to him leaving as of last night now, hope if/when that happens he comes here.
  6. Yeah in the last couple of weeks, no clubs mentioned though.
  7. He does score a lot of goals from midfield, I’d have concerns over if he is technically good enough to do it in the EPL though.
  8. Although I think he’ll be for the off particularly now as there’s no CL money for us I think lennon is getting at Ajer, Christie and Ntcham here who have all knocked back new contracts.
  9. Tonight has massively increased the chances of getting a deal done for him. I don’t blame him for leaving after that disgrace tonight and would be amazed if he’s still here come October. Lennon made a fckin arse of that tonight, so angry.
  10. Agreed, if your clever he could be replaced adequately for possibly half that.
  11. Seen us get tanked in Paris after going a goal up in the first minute, seemed to just make PSG angry, like you allude to, it wasn't fun.
  12. People on here seen far more of him than me but I thought he looked a tidy enough player, not very dynamic but good on the ball and useful sort of player to have in the squad, strikes me as 6/7 out of 10 every week type.
  13. He has a serious ego/messiah complex and that’s not sour grapes as there is plenty on this forum I have been positive about with him. It was similar at Celtic, initially said he was happy with the budget, said he could make us a regular CL club and last 16 on the odd occassion. Two years later and numerous horsings in Europe, including our record home and away defeats and he started throwing the board under the bus publicly for not backingrather than accept any responsibility whatsoever.
  14. This is of course based on nothing but it sort of feels like a movie I’ve seen before. Again not based on anything just speculating but could it be that Rodgers is at odds with owners re recruitment? E.g. recruitment department have identified targets but Rodgers has his own targets thus a stand-off. In this case I’d be right behind the owners, they’ve implemented a recruitment model that is proven to work, Rodgers will have been informed of this beforehand and may be doing the spitting the dummy act again.
  15. On a serious note Harry Wilson - £20m Tomori - Loan Callum Wilson - £10m (release clause?)
  16. Congerton to persuade his favourite son Marvin (Big Marv) Compper to come out of retirement with a 100k a week four year deal
  17. If results aren't good Rodgers won't be shy in being vocal about not being backed properly, he was the same at Liverpool and Celtic in that regard.
  18. I'd say a level beyond that again, Tielemans has never been linked with the sort of clubs DVDB has. He has been linked with Barcelona again the last couple of days but not sure if that's lazy journalism due to the Koeman, dutch connection. Given Rakitic and Vidal are on the way out though I wouldn't be surprised.
  19. He'd be quite a coup but would be amazed, Barcelona, Real Madrid and a host of other clubs have all been linked with Van Der Beek.
  20. Wellbeck why don’t you go the whole hog and just sign jack wilshere as well
  21. Thanks for clarifying. I guess in this case though it's a case of comparing apples and oranges in that regard though as most of those wingers play every week, Gray doesn't and although I've not seen much of him going by what I read on here I think he'd struggle to maintain such a ratio starting games every week.
  22. Are Gray's numbers in the premier league horrific though? If they are as bad as I seem to remember then there'll be a ton of wingers over the last few years that are better than him.
  23. He is a very good player tbh. Took a bit of time to settle in Scotland, had a poor first season but he was good last season.
