  1. I see Castagne is being linked to Spurs and PSG now.
  2. Was linked with us heavily while Rodgers and Congerton were at Celtic, meant to be a half-decent player but quite injury prone. I'd have thought Leicester's sights would be aimed higher though.
  3. I just don't see any goals in this side Vardy aside. With the exception of Barnes when he's on form.
  4. We may all be getting ahead of ourselves but I see parallels with Vardy at Leicester and Larsson at Celtic. Both players were so influential and legendary they elevated their respective sides a good bit beyond what they were actually capable of.
  5. I'm really hoping here this is not a replay of midweek the last 15 minutes and they actually show some urgency to get back in the game.
  6. Agreed, don't see why they can't jsut make it so that there are only drinks breaks if the temp is over a certain threshold.
  7. That's where Rodgers must show he's capable of mixing things up and not just have blind faith in passing teams to death which invariably doesn't work in those sorta games and is like watching paint dry.
  8. It's not even that, at least Costa is cute and caniving to an extent with his shithousery, Morelos is just and idiot and lashes out at people, aiming kicks at them in front of the referee and getting himself sent off time and time again.
  9. Diego Costa! You've clearly not seen much of Morelos if you'd mention someone of that ilk in the same sentence as him!
  10. In the EPL? I'm sure he won't be short of suitors, clubs liek the West Ham's and Everton's of this world love to throw senseless money at pretty average players.
  11. Not seen too much of him before tonight but been impressed also.
  12. It was cramp, that was pretty obvious, if it was a muscle strain he wouldn't have been stretching it.
  13. The biggest thing that done my head in watching that is the last ten minutes there is no more sense of urgency than there is in the first minute, whatever happened to throwing in the kitchen sink to try and win the game.
  14. For £40m or whatever it was you need to get the manager to tell him to sort out his form instead of bringing in players to cover for him. A £40m midfielder you expect to be consistent for 90% of the season.
  15. Thought there should have been more than 3 minutes injury time tbf. In saying that, could play all night and not score here. That looked like a handball from Dunk though, seen them given by VAR nowadays plenty of times.
  16. Showing Brighton far too much respect that imo. Playing a team like Brighton at home he should be setting up to be on the front foot and win the game.
  17. Yeah. I don't understand the reluctance to go direct and get Vardy running in behind from time to time.
  18. Yeah pretty much, started with high pressing, exciting, dynamic play and after 18 months reverted to side to side pedestrian type stuff like this. Got away with it and still won most games in Scotland despite a terrible start one season but we had by far the best players so quality eventually shone through, EPL is a completely different kettle of fish though as obviously the standard is miles higher. Need to learn to mix up his approach and keep teams guessing.
  19. A more concise version of what I just tried to say in my previous post.
  20. This isn't Rodgers bashing but this is exactly what happend at Celtic circa 18 months in, the dynamic, high pressing stuff disappeared as teams got wise to how we played. I think the difference here is players and managers in the EPL are obviously of a far higher standard and cottoning on quicker. He needs to freshen things up in the summer in terms of both new players and varying the approach in certain games. I mean this constructively but Leicester aren't good enough to just rock up and play the same way every week and win every week, there's only a few sides in Europe who are good enough to do that.
  21. Poor start here, look far too pedestrian and not doing anything to get Vardy in the game.
  22. This one really is must win, anything less and the sides below win then it becomes a bit close for comfort.
