It's really hard not to, but I don't think we can really compare our atmosphere or season to theirs. After all this is a teams that should not have been relegated last season. Ipswich fans are enjoying a season of disbelief and dreaming, very much similar to us 15/16. Whereas, rightly or wrongly, we are the Man city of that same season in terms of stature and squad in this division. I just fear that if we drop off 1st place, our fans won't back the lads and instead go the opposite way.

Soooo i'm currently sorting through my programmes and i come across one against red star belgrade Wed 11th Feb 1981. Could anyone tell me what the fixture was for? I can't find any record of it in our european games so assuming it was an oddly placed good relations midweek friendly towards the end of the season, with sunderland to play at the weekend?
