  1. I take it you have seen the pricing of the Contract Hire deals that have just been launched?! A lot of car for the money!
  2. If you go with a broker, any decent one will keep an eye on the market and move you to a better deal if one pops up before your existing deal ends. It is double the work for them if the better deal is with a different lender but good ones will do this.
  3. Kia EV3? EV6 is amazing but maybe the wrong shape if you are looking SUV.
  4. It is such a great series. As you say, the lead character is a brilliant actor to carry off the role being English.
  5. Been in Paris since Sunday. Have seen two car crashes and I surprised it hasn’t been more. Used Uber at least twice a day and thankfully have had a drink most of the times we have been in cabs so I haven’t been as on edge as I would have been sober. Parisian driving is literally mind boggling. Also massive police and army presence everywhere which I suppose will be there until the paralympics finish.
  6. Snowfall on iPlayer. Not sure why this hasn’t got more attention as it deserves it. All about LA in the 1980s and how crack took hold of the place. Great fashion: Lacoste and Fila. Great music and fantastic characters and acting. If you liked Narcos and Narcos Mexico, this is a step up and dare I say it, even better than Breaking Bad! There are six series and I have done the lot in a few weeks.
  7. I’ll give him that one as the exception.
  8. Olympic Opening Ceremonies are shit. This one is the shittest ever.
  9. I have worked in the credit industry for 27 years. All of the advice previously mentioned is absolutely bang on. If you want me to give you a detailed plan on what the best solution for you might be, feel free to message me your email address. I can take some details, have a look at your credit file and see how you should proceed👍
  10. Worryingly, their website is one of the most read “news” websites worldwide.
  11. Ask them how much the salvage value is i.e what the amount is that you could buy it back for.
  12. If they give you a low offer for the car, email them links to the Autotrader adverts for comparable cars and say this is what I have to spend to get a like for like car. You do not have to accept their first offer.
  13. If it is written off you will be able to buy it from your insurance company for a song. It will be forever marked as a write off at dvla and hpi but if you love the car, keep it and repair it. You will get the payout and often you can get the repairs done for much less than the insurance assessment costs.
