  1. This is what I can't understand about the KPFC lot. Most say they're aware of an issue, our man PaulW on this thread is a classic example, most say they know there needs to be a change and/or the club has got things wrong. Just like the Ranieri 2nd season. We all knew he'd lost the plot with the tactics, could see it wasnt working. So why are you just sitting on your hands? What about this club or this ownership makes you think, "this is fine" or I trust them to solve the problem? They never acknowledge anything or explain anything. They're a closed shop and treat supporters like inferiors. If the fans don't ask for change, it won't happen. They're happy to stick their heads in the sand, hope it gets better and carry on regardless. However much you're gripped by Stockholm Syndrome, surely your love for the club outweighs it?
  2. I've seen comments from Newcastle fans (the very last group of fans who should lecture about being unhappy with owners) Sheffield Weds laughing about us thinking we're bigger than we are (34 years since their last trophy) and dozens whose last check in with Leicester was when we sacked Ranieri and this is somehow karma. It's a right state to witness.
  3. I don't see it. 7 points from their last 6, same as Cov. Typical bunfight league. The likes of Luton and Pompey with better form than most of the top 6.
  4. This is why planes are useful. The club will not do or say anything that puts them in a bad light. Image is everything to these people. Whether that be the "free" beer or not using the "R" word in social media posts. A forum with random fans that haven't gone through the same selection process as the FAB could be chaos for these control freaks.
  5. If Cov, Boro or Bristol get out of this division it'll challenge that points record
  6. Thomas against Salah is like a modern day Kaamark vs Juninho. Other than that, the plane gets MOTM.
  7. Absolutely no-one denying their part in what this club became or their charity doings. But isn't that the point? The decline. We should never have been at the point of having 300m losses in 4 years. Never be anywhere near players like Decordova Reid and Ayew or giving Vestergaard an extension let alone a contract.Weve gone from brink of UCL to out the Europa, out the conference, relegated twice and every single playing asset sold to balance the books on the back of cancer-hit fans selling their tickets, loyal fans banned on a whim and thousands charged for plastic cards. If they can accept praise for their charity and great moments they can accept criticism for financial mismanagement and the spiral downwards of the last 5 seasons.
  8. Let me guess....is it a FB group incorporating the word Kop?
  9. Because he's the figurehead of a multi billion duty free company that's having its own issues right now. There would be no point in Whelan, Rudkin and the other faceless suits if Top was just making the calls.
  10. Riza's been sacked by Cardiff, probably the owner couldn't understand him hooking Alves either 😁
  11. As others have said its not the failure. It's how far we've fallen and the fact that -from where we were - we should never have fallen at all. And I never want to hear another person say we've always been a yo-yo club. What we did in the 80s has no bearing on what we do now. Our facilities and setup now is are a world away from Shipman's era.
  12. Get Mark Hughes in the summer. Might have a chance of getting rid of the useless lump.
  13. The Prem isnt the aligator pool its made out to be for young players. You don't get the physical attention in the PL and it isn't like there aren't some decent technically gifted kids in the top flight. Classic example is McAtee at Man City. Looks far better at PL level around better players than he did struggling with Sheff Utd.
  14. TBF this is his first experience of top level football and he's at a struggling club. No-one else was remotely threatening for them.
  15. I'm not always appreciative of the FT efforts and think they could be far more vocal but this is good to see. I think it was the Arsenal game where we were queueing outside for a good 10-15 mins because fan after fan was having phone ticket issues. The comment in the OP from the fan about the club becoming removed from the community couldn't be more true. It's happening at all clubs and ruining a lot of people's experience of the game in general.
