  1. I never had an issue with so-called player power. I'd rather have player power than 25 mercenaries not giving a shit like we had pre-Pearson. The worry is the team spirit we rebuilt last season will drift away. The likes of Coady, Winks, Ricardo and Vardy need to speak up.
  2. He's probably got Southampton and Bournemouth to get at least 4 points before questions are asked by our inept board. A second relegation in 3 years would be crippling and he doesn't have the credit in the bank that Rodgers had
  3. This team can stay up but after today I'm not sure they can stay up with this manager. Flat, uninspiring, dross. Fatawu and Ricardo not starting in this side is almost criminal.
  4. Worst game in a City shirt by far. Couldn't find a pass, couldn't retain possession, doesn't look comfortable in this set up
  5. Has he fallen out with him or does Cooper just not want to have to allow for his lack of pace? Faes looks more comfortable with Okoli even if Okoli doesn't always convince in possession.
  6. He wasn't terrible today but he just wasn't in any dangerous areas. Seemed to be doing neat stuff in the middle third.
  7. He should be coming on when we're holding a lead or need extra work rate but he's not starting ahead of Fatawu for me (or most people). I can't fault his effort I can see why Palace fans liked him but he has almost no end product. Missed two glaring chances to put Vardy in in first half and probably should do better with a chance in the 2nd half.
  8. Puel proves that wrong. Rodgers had credit in the bank from previous seasons. Cooper won't make Christmas if we're anywhere near the bottom 3
  9. He was crap today but that's not on Wilf, he's got no business playing in behind strikers and (trying) to link play at this level. It was obvious to the world and his dog after 20 minutes we needed to change it up and go more attacking. Even if Winks had come off and put Buonanotte and El Couscous with Wilf holding it would have worked better. It's Levein-esque management
  10. As long as Cooper's here I think Ricky's a sub. Justin would have to get injured to be left out under this guy. And Fatawu probably didn't do enough with his chance in the first few games to justify an extended run. If we win, it justifies the selection. Lose to this pile of crap and he's under huge pressure.
  11. I had this mad idea. What if everyone going to the game had a recyclable paper ticket or a season card made of recycled plastic? Could work.
  12. So true. So many of that old skool lot aren't even at the games anymore or have faded away into family stands & less vocal areas. I'll back any group that want to prevent a stale, fairground atmosphere taking over.
  13. Finally got to see the whole thing to properly judge it. Faes & Okoli look to be forming a decent pairing, Faes just looks better not having to worry about leaving Vesty isolated. Stupid mistake but the defeat, sorry points dropped, are on Cooper. If you want to finish up defending, a few of that starting XI should be coming off the bench, not Choudhury and Coady. Start Ricky, start Fatawu, start El Couscous or Buoanotte, finish with Ayew, BDR, Skipp/Ndidi etc. Better still, stop trying to defend leads. No-one was especially poor but the game changes with the subs. 6s most, 7s on Faes, Skipp, Stephy & Vardy.
  14. That's indefensible. Go ahead and prove me wrong Steve but it's an uninspiring, grey line up. SMH about Ndidi alone.
  15. Let's be honest it's not even worthy of a Commons debate. The only people in favour of it would be doing it with a grin on their faces only normally reserved for pumpkins at Halloween. "Mr Speaker, I'd like to talk about dynamic pricing. It's sh!te and it should be banned. All in favour say aye" Debate over.
