  1. The players wages come at least in part from the sponsorships, as a core element of the clubs turnover, do they not? It’s ridiculous to think the paltry number of fan shirts a club like Leicester city shifts is worth much compared to the millions of eyeballs from the players wearing it on TV. But fine, the kit _might_ need to be more expensive (assuming we still want to be creating multi millionaires out of blokes who kick a ball around, while 3 million kids in this country live in poverty). Even so, I was actually agreeing with an earlier poster who said we should have access to ad free kits *even if they were more expensive*! As for why a piece of polyester should cost what it does, I can only speculate…
  2. Totally agree. The players are paid to wear the sponsor - we aren’t. We pay to buy the shirt, so it should be ad free, or cheaper if you want to accept advertising on it. better regulation on shirt sponsors would help with this too. I don’t think many would begrudge a charity/nfp/good cause on their shirt. Why not have a separate sponsor for the fan shirts?
  3. Disgraceful decision. Watch the floor under Vardy when is is in the air. He accelerates from the contact! He’s not able to fly FFS!
  4. Looked like he adjusted his body to get his arm out of the way and exactly the wrong moment. The modern game eh…
  5. I need to see it again, but I’m not sure Ward covered himself in glory there.
  6. Yuri is so off the pace it is unreal. He is a liability defensively at the moment. Making Xhaka look like peak Iniesta…
  7. Could not have gone any worse. Silva looking injured at the end to cap it off. I can't help but feel this was the players having made their mind up about Puel.
  8. We had twenty minutes to do something at the end, but Everton brought out the gamesmanship and absolutely killed it. Frustrating. Overall, a spineless performance. Chillwell not ready, but Fuchs has already retired by the looks of things. Vardy looked no threat at all, and ndidi struggled with passing. James obviously tired, but I thought he was better than other made out. Albrighton lacked quality in possession. And the less said about Gray the better. I thought the subs were good, except I'd have kept amartey on rather than Chillwell - he is at least a decent footballer.
  9. If ever evidence was needed that a campaign like this is necessary, we've got it here in abundance. I'm utterly disgusted by these comments.
