Mendy is miles ahead of him as a player. So much more comfortable on the ball and will drive it forward. The fact Hamza was not subbed before Mendy is baffling

Have to get Vardy in the game. Not sure if we can still give him the not fit excuse any more now. Think we'll score again, problem is we're only a set piece or a cross away from conceding. Our defending aerially as per is shite -

Hamza is shite. Not good enough on the ball at all. Never has been. -
Hope he comes in and does well. Personally have my doubts tho, doesn't seem to have adapted well to our league. Definitely now or never for him

Mentally weak. Simple as that. Rodgers should come out and say similar too. Let the challenge down to them. Awaiting another bollocks interview with him with the usual excuses and tripe said -

Null and void. Absolute collapse again. Weak, weak mentality from us. Can anyone remember a game under Rodgers where we've turned it around after being shite and down in the first half? Cant wait for his after match interview about the usual rubbish. How Arsenal played well, we looked lethargic, injuries, etc. -

Don't think I've seen a half where all our attacking players have contributed virtually nothing. I've barely noticed Ian, Barnes, Riccardo or Vardy Awful -

True but shouldn't do more than them, considering Arsenal also played Thursday and had to fly back -

Feels like a season maker or breaker this game now. Need to up the tempo here and kick on. We've been poor -

The old set piece goal Shock horror -
Embarrassing performance, embarrassing managerial decisions. Playing two defensive midfielders at home to this opposition is a joke frankly, especially playing Amartey and Albrighton too. Just no attacking intent. At least in some of our other crap home losses this season we've had a go. Didn't even look bothered tonight. Players need to have a look at themselves too. Believe in their own hype, and think we can just turn up and win these games. Dog shit, deserve some serious criticism tonight

As others say I hope Tielemans doesn't play. Get him injured then we're in trouble. -
Amartey is another player like Mendy, a perfect squad player. People seem to think we should have a team full in depth of nailed on starters. His best quality of being versatile is also his weakness because it means he can't nail down one position as he fills in all over. He shouldn't be criticised for that however, just shows how unselfish he is. Did ok today, people expect too much from him. Were playing against a front three of the highest quality. He's not had a bad game this season.

Liverpool (H) Match Thread - Sat 13/02/21 @ 12.30 BT Sports

Deserve nothing less than to be behind. Every time we play these we set up and play like a relegation side. Today and Wednesday has seen shocking movement and passing. Poor, and Liverpool not even been good -
Said since he came, he is another player who doesn't have a nailed on position. Ends up being a stop gap here and there and doesn't offer enough consistently. Very odd player. No one can argue tho the fact we paid 30m is simply not value for money at all. He does work hard, he's not lazy but hasn't offered enough end product
-
I thought It was ok tonight. Wouldn't have given Kel motm over Justin but otherwise they were decent
-
Looks like he's had a rocket up him Actually pressing and tackling. Fair play to him
-
Aim to be a big club but sign players on a par with Burnley, Brighton, Palace or Newcastle. Embarrassing really. Not recalling KDH looks scandalous now tbh. Would rather keep Hamza and save the transfer fee too
-
Shambles. I feel again the players have wanted to believe in their own hype. Every time we get a bit of momentum going it comes back to bite us and we get shown up. The defending and concentration at the back at times is non league like. Every corner for the opposition is a big chance now. I think we have a real arrogance to us at times, expecting to turn up and win. Shocking. Perez is poor. We need to realise this. He's a victim of not having a nailed on position. Kelechi isn't the answer either. Both not good enough for a top half team let alone European outfit. The club simply have to get a striker in, if we don't, then ambitions of finishing in top four will disappear again. It's like having a man short up front without Vardy. Making that cvnt Bamford look good is bad enough. Hate Leeds
