  1. Not been good enough this half. Midfield totally ineffective. Keep forgetting Maddison is even playing tbh. Vardy has been poor. Haven't had anyone to bring on for him since Ihenacho went off
  2. It was a pen. How it wasn't in the first half tho or at Villa is beyond me
  3. Keepers can almost do what they want in the air nowadays
  4. I actually quite enjoyed it. I went there saying a draw would be good and I'd take 0-0 although I didn't expect it to be goalless. I thought we played well first half without creating, and arguably had the better of the play up until Hamza went off. Wolves actually I thought were a bit disappointing, but they looked dangerous with Traoure when he came on A very good point indeed imo. Few negatives, Tielemans continues to look poor, always slow. Vardy isn't getting any service either. These are concerns. Riccardo possibly the motm. Mike Dean is still shit
  5. I'm glad. I would like Bournemouth to go down. And regardless it's a good result for Big Nige
  6. My first thought was we'd probably play Thursday because we're not playing again until Monday Vs Villa again
  7. If we're to be a consistent top four club he is not the keeper we should keep sticking with. But at the same time I don't know a realistic signing who could replace him. The flaws in his game have never improved tho and that's frankly ridiculous. He's been kicking the ball shockingly for years. It seems like he doesn't practice these things at all
  8. Excellent result. Really didn't want a Wolves win probably more so than Utd. If they beat us next game and then win again whilst we have city, the gap would have been a lot shorter. Come away from Molineux without defeat and I'll be happy
  9. Lucky to to concede in first half. Should have won it with our chances. Barnes has to improve at these chances. He's really done well recently but the big chances like these cannot be missed at the top level when it matters. Is it time to drop Kasper? He's so susceptible from set pieces it's ridiculous. Teams know this. His distribution was a joke again. Surely he works on this? It's fortunate we haven't conceded more from his **** ups like this. How many yards was he off his line for the second goal? Effectively got lobbed from a header. Shocking. Defending isn't good enough either from set pieces too. What was going on with Chilwell marking Rudiger? Only going to be one winner. Decent performance but ultimately two points dropped. Did say I'd be happy with a draw before the game to maintain the gap so it's not doom and gloom just yet. Have to take chances and switch on a bit more at the back. Two points Vs Chelsea this season, could and should probably have been six
  10. Chilwell on his right foot. What is the world coming to...
  11. Pin Kasper in at corners... Every team does it now. Useless at commanding his area aerially
  12. 16m isn't a bad price, I'd have him for that
  13. Looking back through other semis...2013 Chelsea lost 0-2 at home to Swansea and only drew 0-0 in the second leg (when hazard kicked the ball boy) Similar circumstances to us result wise. Chelsea finished third that year and Swansea mid table. Sometimes it happens. Need to recover quick and go on to Saturday. Chelsea went on to win the Europa that year. Hopefully we do the same with the FA cup.
  14. No one has forgotten all the top saves he does and is capable of. His flaws here are being shown up Vs the more direct teams. I don't remember Man City putting balls into the box as often as other teams
  15. This. Similar to what I already put, opposition have definitely found this weakness out. So many chances we concede chances from set pieces and we have been very lucky to not have conceded more goals from them. I can't see us ever getting anyone to permanently replace him for at least 2/3 years.
  16. Kasper has always been a shot stopper keeper and not good in the air. Albeit he was shit for their first goal. He's very capable of performing world class saves, definitely one of the most agile keepers around. Probably why he's so good at penalties. But in the air he is seriously lacking. I've said this for years now. We are so poor at defending corners largely due to not being a big side but also because Kasper is not commanding in the air at all. It appears teams have started to see this. They block him off and crowd him, and then he inevitably flaps. He is a real flapper. So many games you can watch where a team chasing a game in the last few mins pumps balls into the box and the keeper catches so many. It rarely happens with Kapser He is a good keeper but he isn't a great keeper and that's why he is with us and not one of the massive clubs. Aerial side and distribution side of his game is not up to it
  17. Use it as a lesson. Take the FA cup seriously and let's get to another semi final I'm well against semi finals at Wembley but I'm desperate to see us at the new Wembley in a competitive game. Probably that's why I was so disappointed in last night... just want that Wembley trip
  18. Reflecting on it again now. When are we going to do away with Gray? He's simply not good enough is he. How many times do we say 'one more chance' or 'this is his season'. He's never improving. If Rodgers can't improve him then can anyone? Genuinely don't think he's any better then when we first signed him. Would like to say at least his work rate has got better. But he didn't even bother challenging that cross last night. Just not on. It does also show just how poor our wingers are. Granted Barnes has really stepped up imo since the turn of the year, and is chipping in or providing goals. But Perez becomes more and more ineffective. At time you can forget he's playing. Maybe it's a positional thing, but either way we need a winger desperately to add quality to this side. Where did he play for Newcastle? Wasn't it more central? Interesting the comments people have said that about a lack of character and fight which is what you would get with a O'Neill or Pearson side. We have quality but definitely lacked any one pulling the team together and leading. Rodgers's tactics definitely cost us in the first leg and arguably did again yesterday. We lacked any bite in the first leg and again with the benefit of hindsight perhaps playing Praet over Tielmans would have been a better option. West Ham game being the exception, we are still not really moving the ball with any pace or idea often enough. Slowing the game down and going along the back four let's the opposition get into shape. I said at the time as much as we needed and deserved the West Ham win, when the opposition is as poor as that it does paper over the cracks. Desperately need of a win and a performance on Saturday. No idea if Rodgers knows his best tactics or team any more, and it's starting to show. It's difficult to play both Ihenacho and Vardy in the same team with Maddison not being on the wing.
  19. He definitely deserves criticism at times. I was all for Puel bashing with his tactics and subs. So Rodgers should be beat with the same stick when it is correct to do so. He's done very well on the whole though. It's definitely a worry that every 'big' game we have played we seem to bottle it. We don't look any good under pressure at all. Every time we have been given a real test, we have fell short. I now don't think he knows what his best team is. Seems to want to play Ihenacho now, but it's hard to fit him in with Vardy. The diamond seems to be disposed of now. I think we'll see a test of his management in the upcoming games which are not easy at all
  20. 1-3 defeat. Not confident at all the way we're playing. Chelsea are not good at the back tho so do think we'll score. Need a performance before the break
  21. Schmeichel needs to sort himself out with his kicking. Absolutely embarrassing. At least once every game he'll kick it straight to their attackers or midfield. He surely must practice this?
  22. Thinkk today and recent games have showed how fortunate we are that outside the top three the rest of the pack are more or less wank It's worrying now that we are starting to perform shockingly Vs these teams recently. We are crying out for new signings now imo.
  23. I thought that was a shocking display overall. Looked second best to the ball all the time when it mattered. Perez was so anonymous it's unbelievable. Vardy and Ndidi clearly aren't fit. I hate villa nowadays. Dirty cheating ***** who are a poor side, but if you don't put these teams away that's what happens. Same Vs Burnley away too. Really fear our run of games now. Glad we have two weeks off after Chelsea tbh
