He's quite capable against these sort of teams. High balls and crosses and blocks are his game. Just like he was class away at Burnley back end of season. Next week Vs Bournemouth is not what he's suited too tho imo -
Sheff Utd (A) Post Match Thread - 1 - 2

Not a good performance really but obviously a good win. I don't get the system from Rodgers though. Just seems to shackle our attacking play, lacking and pace or width. Hamza motm for me. Especially late on he was everywhere and got a toe to intercept many of their attacks. Perez doesn't seem to fit in at all out wide. Happy with the win and hope we can beat Bournemouth for a good solid start -
FAI reaches out as Maddison considers switch

Needless to push an England cap when he's likely to get one anyway. Very unlikely to choose ROI over us anyway -
Possibly the worst case of big money spent in our history. Clearly is on too much money and we can't permanently shift him

Started the game shit. This is still a bit of an issue with us at times. Can't afford to be doing that. Bossed the game from 30 mins on. Should have won it, Maddison miss was shocking. Good performance and entertaining and on to Sheffield Utd.

Forest away would be good -
It's undeniable how an alternative to Vardy is needed. Games like yesterday he becomes anonymous, not necessarily through his own fault but due to either our style of play or the opposition set up. Wolves defended against him well and he had no time or space move, which doesn't suit him at all. He can still be a threat tho, look at his goal record under Puel. He scored a lot for what was a negative style of play and no cutting edge at all. This is why his record against the top teams is so good, because they will have more of the ball which means more chances at the other end for Vardy. I'm not so sure what an alternative is though and we have really struggled in finding one. Slimani has a decent style of play for that sort of game but he's very poor and a lazy player. Ihenacho could be classed more as a poacher but if he can't get in the team or develop under Rodgers then he never will imo. I would have liked a signings like Rondon. In order to create space and have somewhat of an aerial threat too in the box. We looked more threatening with wingers in the second half yesterday. But in doing this we put more high balls into the box with little or no chance of any our players winning something in the air.

We've always been a smaller team at the back in recent years. Haven't threatened from set pieces all that much and really struggled defensively against them for a while.

Very disappointed with the performance tbh. Got let off the hook with Var and didn't really want to have a go enough. Wolves looked tired towards the end but we didn't stretch them enough. Think Brendan got the team selection wrong with Maddison and Perez both wide. Didn't give us enough width at all. And when Albrighton came on he does have an obsession with crossing it for the pure sake of it to absolutely no one. Chilwell was woeful today he really was. Worst game I've seen him have in. Leicester shirt. Ndidi was so wasteful too. Passing was poor. Soyuncu and Evans played well. How many shots on target did we have? Can barely remember any. Think we were somewhat thankful for a draw

Definitely should phone up or use the online chat to try and get something better

Any good for existing customers? I used the code you gave me for my brother and he's chuffed. Thanks a lot

18/21 is surprising to me However with the amount of dross served up especially after the Fa cup exit, I feel it definitely put people off

What sort of price would the 40% make the basic channels plus sports?

Former Player Remembers: Steve Howard

Was always a big loss for us when he didn't play in 08/09 and 09/10. He was an excellent target man at flicking the ball on and assisting Fryatt. Wish he played the first leg Vs Cardiff as he bossed them second leg after suspension -
England Vs Croatia was a big disappointment for me. Really felt that was our one chance to make a final and it might not happen for a long time again at World Cup level. And Croatia weren't even that good either.
