  1. McAteer not coming on was baffling. No way can Vardy start at Middlesbrough. Hamza to play over Casadei please or even Yunus there if he's fit
  2. Enzo got it wrong imo tonight. Vardy again more or less anonymous, Ian should be first choice with the odd rotation. Casadei, I'm not sure what he offers most the time. Seemed to peak early on in his career here. We miss Ndidi massively in games like this. Fatawu, lightning in first half then in the second just didn't run. Got the ball and passed it or gave it away. No idea what's happened to him in that half there. Collectively not good enough, never really got going and didn't test their keeper barely at all.
  3. Bought some blue and white Reebok trainers in the summer. Worn them to every league game I've been to (missed Blackburn and Swansea only). Wore some different ones to the Hull game 😂😂
  4. I'm worried about us getting caught on the counter here, or us dicking about with it at the back when we shouldn't be and getting caught. They have quality to punish us. Could easily be high scoring, just need to control the ball and take chances
  5. We've been shite here, lacking energy or intensity They're shit and we've gave them a goal
  6. Take the lead early and comfortable. I expect another slow game like Bristol C at home. We are finding more space playing away from home imo.
  7. I agree but it's not Nachos game, he's being used more as a false nine. Except the Soton miss that he should have buried, I can't think of a clear, clear chance he has had where he's expected to score. He's now imo a better all round option than Vardy. He holds and links play up, but is too often now too deep. But I've been disappointed with him this season, NGL. I expected him to tear it up, and he has only had sparse moments so far of any quality. I still think he'll come good though
  8. I'm not sure that's right on Vardy. He was barely noticeable against Cov at home, similar Vs Hull except a header. Iheanacho I have highly rated previously, I'm not quite sure what's happened to his finishing though, although Friday was the first massive chance I'd say he has missed this season. I'd say Iheanacho has a lot of work to do, but I also feel if he gets one he could have a purple patch. The new system is going to take a while for him. At one point under Rodgers he was the only player who could create or score out of nothing. I would like to see both Vardy and Iheanacho together but have accepted it's not going to happen with Enzo
  9. Comes far too deep in this system. He's barely getting any changes at all inside the box. I do think once he scores he will kick on though.
  10. We were poor. Temp and play was too slow at times. Can't even think of a safe their keeper made.... Referee was dogshit and the time added on was ridiculous
  11. Too laboured. They play ok football but don't look good at the back but we aren't testing them. Tempo needs to up, their keeper not had a save to make
  12. Tannoy announcer just read the teams out with Ward starting 😂 he wasn't kidding either just getting it all wrong Was worth it for the reactions on faces though have to say 😂
  13. Don't particularly think McAteer is good enough but happy to be proved wrong. Just shows we lack wingers still. Interesting about Castagne in the squad. I hope that Ian bags today and kicks on
  14. Happy with the win but were a bit lucky. Cov arguably had the better clear cut chances. A prem team would have scored at least 3 against us today. Set piece defending, dogshit. It's laughable, near post always seems even worse than anything else. Vardy was poor, thought he started ok then was barely noticeable. I'm lost for words how many managers just don't start or rate Nacho. Defence generally looked slow af and no leadership back there. Vestergaard being on the pitch just to pass the ball around is baffling. Genuinely believe I'm quicker than him. Kdh grew into the game, and saved us. Mavididi looked dangerous. I'm not sure about McAteer but hard to say after just one game. Ndidi was getting forward but didn't effect the game like he seemed to in pre season. I was impressed by Cov, they counter attacked well and seemed to know where every teammate was in transition. They'll be up there again I think. A lot of work to do, but delighted with the win
  15. I'm not really arsed about results in pre season at all. But the sharpness here and lack of ideas when we do get the ball is a bit worrying
  16. Want him to do well. But one of the most baffling, frustrating and brilliant players I've seen in a LCFC shirt. Never seen a player so capable of something brilliant, then suddenly forgetting he is on the pitch the next. I really believe he could have got 15+ goals in every season since about 2020. He could be that dangerous but just didn't take chances, yet would go and score harder ones. Wish him well though and feel like he did give a damn about the club
  17. All that way for a press conference or two and some high fives with fans. Embarrassing
