  1. Enzo got it wrong imo tonight. Vardy again more or less anonymous, Ian should be first choice with the odd rotation.

Casadei, I'm not sure what he offers most the time. Seemed to peak early on in his career here. We miss Ndidi massively in games like this.

Fatawu, lightning in first half then in the second just didn't run. Got the ball and passed it or gave it away. No idea what's happened to him in that half there.

Collectively not good enough, never really got going and didn't test their keeper barely at all.

Vardy still pressing the opposition, creates chances a lone, Iheanacho doesn’t do anything of that. And he lacks movement.

He will get a goal sometime soon, maybe two or three, but I’ve been waiting for him to hit a purple patch since he’s been here over 5 seasons. Only once has he had a purple patch and that was during Covid which tells you how long ago it was.

I agree but it's not Nachos game, he's being used more as a false nine. Except the Soton miss that he should have buried, I can't think of a clear, clear chance he has had where he's expected to score.

He's now imo a better all round option than Vardy. He holds and links play up, but is too often now too deep.

But I've been disappointed with him this season, NGL. I expected him to tear it up, and he has only had sparse moments so far of any quality. I still think he'll come good though

A good striker also creates chances for himself. It's what Vardy still does.

I'm not sure that's right on Vardy. He was barely noticeable against Cov at home, similar Vs Hull except a header.

Iheanacho I have highly rated previously, I'm not quite sure what's happened to his finishing though, although Friday was the first massive chance I'd say he has missed this season.

I'd say Iheanacho has a lot of work to do, but I also feel if he gets one he could have a purple patch. The new system is going to take a while for him. At one point under Rodgers he was the only player who could create or score out of nothing.

I would like to see both Vardy and Iheanacho together but have accepted it's not going to happen with Enzo

  4. Happy with the win but were a bit lucky. Cov arguably had the better clear cut chances. A prem team would have scored at least 3 against us today.

Set piece defending, dogshit. It's laughable, near post always seems even worse than anything else.

Vardy was poor, thought he started ok then was barely noticeable. I'm lost for words how many managers just don't start or rate Nacho.

Defence generally looked slow af and no leadership back there. Vestergaard being on the pitch just to pass the ball around is baffling. Genuinely believe I'm quicker than him.

Kdh grew into the game, and saved us. Mavididi looked dangerous. I'm not sure about McAteer but hard to say after just one game. Ndidi was getting forward but didn't effect the game like he seemed to in pre season.

I was impressed by Cov, they counter attacked well and seemed to know where every teammate was in transition. They'll be up there again I think.

A lot of work to do, but delighted with the win

  5. Want him to do well.

But one of the most baffling, frustrating and brilliant players I've seen in a LCFC shirt.

Never seen a player so capable of something brilliant, then suddenly forgetting he is on the pitch the next. I really believe he could have got 15+ goals in every season since about 2020. He could be that dangerous but just didn't take chances, yet would go and score harder ones.

Wish him well though and feel like he did give a damn about the club
