I think he's declined rapidly as a player. He should for the past three seasons be on 15+ goals. He has that many chances. Nowadays he goes missing in games for 85 mins rather than previous 30. He never runs at people either. I've no idea why he's starting and for me he could actually cost Rodgers his job, let alone us points with these chances missed like today

Tell me it's not just me who is getting sick of hearing about the Charity Shield and ECL semi final? The charity shield is not an achievement. It was nice to win it but it is a one off glorified friendly game. Only slightly better than Spurs winning the Audi cup, least their manager then doesn't go on about it. ECL semi final by default was an under achievement. If it was EL semi or even quarter final, then fine. But we were only in it because the football we played in the EL group stage was wank and we dropped into it because we are poor. Again not an achievement. It would be like praising him at the end of this season for getting us 17th and saying he's saved us. We shouldn't have been in the position anyway. Get him gone

I wasn't arsed about Dyche. Now I wouldn't mind. I'd love to see us actually win some headers from aerial situations for a change. That alone will probably just about keep us up imo
