  1. Then I guess its human error. Tielemans clearly made contact with the ball (whether or not he made contact with Vardy first) so the lino must have thought it ricochet'd off Vardy I assume. I'm not disputing the facts of the particular case, just the logic of the 'it must either be a foul or an attacking throw-in/corner' argument which is often banded around in these cases.
  2. Fair enough, I said I didn't know if that had happened or not. Just find the argument that people always seem to make ('either a Leicester throw or a pen') a bit annoying as it is clearly not true.
  3. The ball can be won by the defender and then ricochet off the attacking player for a defensive thrown-in. No idea if that's what happened here as I haven't seen a conclusive replay, but the argument you mention is a fallacious one.
  4. I'll take your word for it 😉
  5. I'm not sure what that screenshot is supposed to show, and frankly I'm not about to go and research anything, I have better things to do 😂 Anyway, my point is not so much that the decisions are wrong, but that they appear (to the naked eye, with the given angles) to be wrong. As people have said up thread, this could maybe be resolved by increasing the margin of error or providing better camera angles. I don't think the onus should be on fans to research perspective and var technology in order to feel that they have been fairly treated.
  6. No, you're wrong, it's because of perspective. Just read the thread ffs 😉
  7. As far as I can see it's just you insisting var offside decisions are flawless because of "perspective". If anyone can show me evidence that Dier's shoulder or Davies' head aren't beyond Barnes' toe for the goal last week, then fair enough, but it certainly doesn't look that way to me. It looks more like they make up where to draw the line as they go along, so why not provide fuller explanation to the fans?
  8. This thread is even more depressing than today's game
  9. Today proves that the slow starts haven't been Puel's fault as the new man has had a full four days to work with the players ?
  10. Are you being serious
