Has anybody else noticed a lot more roadkill around in the last few weeks or is it just me? Badgers and foxes in all states of decay on the roadside. I even saw a bird get hit by a HGV on the M1 a week back - it dove across the road like they do but misjudged it and got caught. It was a small thing and landed on the fast lane flapping about on it's back. Felt bad for it, I bet it got splattered very soon after.

For me this makes it worse. A dog bites a child in a split second of madness and is simply killed without question. The man however planned his actions of killing and robbing both people. As a human he has the intelligence to know right from wrong and how this will affect the people's families. Therefore in these 2 scenarios in the news at the moment, the man is far more guilty than the dog.
