  1. Absolutely spot on. I've seen him half a dozen times live this year. To me he looks like a bulkier, slightly trickier version of Ward Prowse. Hard to know where his best position is too. Very good technically and decent strength on the ball but will never be properly quick or a direct winger. Could well make it at high Champ level if he keeps developing but would be fairly surprised if he played in the Prem consistently. PS this isn't being critical. He's been very good and one of the 23s best players this year. Back on topic i'm sure Harvey Barnes will play at Premier League level week in week out
  2. Have to agree with Albert surely No matter how inept we are as a club all managers / head coaches are involved in the majority of signings. A scouting department will assess and present options of players and will then present this to DoF & normally a head coach who will then decide who to pursue. That's it in its simplest form and its counter productive to not involve the manager in that process. Normally the only difference comes if a DoF has been recommended a player through contacts and they may skip the scouting stage if he knows the player well. I just think we've signed poorly but in terms of how we identify and pursue players I'd be astounded if the manager isn't involved
  3. This is bang on and is the easiest way for people to understand him whether they love or hate him. I still think the positives outweigh the negatives with him. And as much as i rate him i still find it odd that we signed him as he most definitely doesn't suit our style of play. He's not the sort that in his late 20s will start changing his style of play so we can't expect anything other than the performances he's given us and for me that's fine. Yes he has limitations and sometimes will frustrate you but he will score goals consistently and nothing suggests otherwise. May as well support him and what he's good at. We all know he isn't no.1 and will never start over Vardy so just accept he's a very effective 2nd choice striker
  4. 00rawat let me down at 2:30pm on Saturday at the game after saying he wanted my spare Hull ticket.. Ignored my call and then text to say sorry not coming as i was waiting..
  5. Agreed. Suppose it looks a little more promising with the likes of Elder (pre injury doing well at Brentford), Chilwell, Barnes, Choudhury (Already doing well at Champ level) but fully agree it should be much better!
  6. Recommend @@m4DD0gg as a buyer. Transferred money no problem as soon as posted out.
  7. Bayfox and rutlandfox91 both good buyers. Paid straight away
  8. Hahaa really? Please elaborate on that for me.. How on earth would you compare how employable he is with me? Are you really trying to defend and justify the acts in the video? And yes, I'd expect most clubs wouldn't want them for a few months. Let the furore die down and let Hopper be acknowledged as the main racist culprit. Granted Smith and Pearson didn't appear to do much wrong other than the filming part.
  9. Errr because he's thick as pig shit. Filmed himself in a racist sex tape and sent it onto his mates. He's a footballer.. A role model to young people & fans of wherever he plays at. Granted not the biggest mistake in the world. If he's that stupid and didn't know Hopper or Pearson sent it on then fine, give him another chance. But if he purposely thought it was funny and encouraged whoever to send it on then he definitely doesn't deserve a chance again so soon.
  10. Jesus. Bet there's some pissed off Northampton fans
  11. Will certainly donate after payday next week also.
