ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2016 Share Posted 25 February 2016 it really is obvious. not sure what statistic would point out that a game is a bit less intense but if there was one, it would show that. because it's obvious. the reason our media and managers use that as an excuse is because it's true. Foxxed Posted 25 February 2016 Share Posted 25 February 2016 It's a sad state of affairs when Manchester United can't even beat an unpronounceable Danish side in the off chance they may maintain a high so as not to get utterly hammered by Arsenal in a couple of days time. Couldn't they have bought 120 Riyad Mahrezes for the money they spent on Mata? Christ.

Carl the Llama Posted 25 February 2016 Share Posted 25 February 2016 Only one game, but Rashford potentially looks more of a direct threat than Rooney. A stray cabbage on the pitch looks more of a direct threat than Rooney, that's how you can tell them apart when they're on at the same time. MC Prussian Posted 25 February 2016 Share Posted 25 February 2016 Only one game, but Rashford potentially looks more of a direct threat than Rooney. Well, doesn't an 18-year old have by default more potential than a 30-year old?

Devonfox1884 Posted 26 February 2016 Share Posted 26 February 2016 If an English team win the Europa League does 4 in the league still qualify for the Champions League? Yes. Only if say Chelsea won the champions league and finished below 4th would 4th not get a place. England is allowed a maximum of 5 spots in the champions league. MC Prussian Posted 26 February 2016 Share Posted 26 February 2016 Can I just say that people mentioning Barcelona as if they're only human or may or may not cut it in the Premier League handily forget that their front three consist of Brazil's most talented striker in a decade, Uruguay's grown-up (or still not grown-up) wonderkid with a foot like a tractor engine who's already had PL audiences swoon over him as well as Argentina's answer to Ireland's leprechauns (although Messi grants you several more wishes, I may add). These three together currently have a combined market value of 300 million Euro (roughly £240m)! That pays for about three full Leicester City squads (25+ players). Messi alone is as valuable as our entire team put together.
